Kelly Fong: I should have read the comments before I booked in. Very disappointed consultation. Getting nothing out except X-ray referral letter which I could get from my GP. Paid $530 for nothing. The specialist didn’t read my blood test and bone scan results in details beforehand. Bone scan result already stated clearly my diagnoses but she is still unsure. Obviously didn’t read my result. If another X ray needed before the consultation, why not advices me before the consultation if she already read al my results? Why asked me to pay $530 for a referral? Everything is so unsure and unprepared. Wasted so much time and money. Severely overpriced for 20mins consultation and an unprepared specialist. Extremely disappointed.Updated reply:My appointment was booked at 12.15 but was not called in until 12:20. When I was done with the consultation and paying the time was 12:42 which was definitely not 30 minutes. It might’ve been 30 minutes on paper but in the real life it was not. I went to another specialist and they thoroughly went through the same results that I had given to this clinic and they were able to give me a diagnosis and treatment prescription after the 1hr consultation.

Marina: After seeing multiple GP’s regarding subclinical hypothyroidism and getting no answers (or completely contradictory answers from different practitioners), I was very happy with the explanations provided to me by Dr Amanda Seabrook. She was clearly extremely knowledgeable, patient and thorough in answering all of my questions and ensuring I get the right treatment for my thyroid. The receptionists were also lovely! Richelle Milburn: When I tried to make a appointment at Dr Dukes private rooms due to her staff at the public clinic at Royal north shore not answering there phone I was verbally abused and dismissed by one of the reception staff at this surgery when I explained that I was unable to get in contact with the public rooms she said she wasnt going to get into that with me and told me not to call the private rooms .I will never go to either practice Dr Duke is dismissive indifferent as are the reception staff.I have since received a call from Dr Anna story and she said I wasn’t welcome at her practice claiming I was abusive which I wasn’t far from !.All I wanted was to see a doctor I have been unwell for a couple of months and the public clinic don’t answer the phone as mentioned I left several messages over a period of a-few weeks it wasn’t until I started ring Dr Dukes private rooms to see if I could get in there that the public rooms responded and told me they would book me appointment until I got another referral letter from my gp who was away at the time so I couldn’t get another referral, the referral Dr Duke had at her public rooms was only recent so there should not have been a issue for me to be seen at her public rooms or her private rooms! It’s appalling how a so called medical professional can deny someone medical a appointment or medical treatment it’s grossly unprofessional and neglectful not to mention indifferent and dismissive .

Thanks for helping me to live easier with my chronic disease and to be successful in my career!

Nadine Tan: I was referred to Dr Linda Wu by my endocrine surgeon, Dr Delbridge after a thyroidectomy for thyroid cancer. Having seen her for the first time this week I absolutely know that she will be my endocrinologist for many years to come. She was extremely patient, genuine and meticulous to detail. She devised a thorough plan going forward and I now feel as though my ongoing care is in safe and experienced hands.Another important thing to note about this clinic, my thyroid cancer treatment plan (radioactive iodine) will be consulted at a clinic meeting to gain consensus before it’s brought into action. I haven’t come across any other practice which does this - I think it’s an absolutely gold standard in patient care.

Mary Ford: Dr Monique Costin speaks fast, uses complicated words and was very impatient with my Mum when Mum asked questions. When I tried to speak up for my Mum and ask her to explain in simple words the doctor raised her voice and said "I will send a letter to your GP" and we were abruptly ushered to the waiting room. Mum and I were in shock and then we got the bill which was more than $580 when we were told it would be $450. I fear that she intimidates all her elderly patients.

Tracey Kenendy: I've recently started seeing Sarah Glastras after being diagnosed with Hyperparathyroidism, Insulin Resistance and Menopausal symptoms. I've found her to be compassionate and understanding. She took the time to listen to me and talk me through treatment options and after seeing for her for less than 6 months I have managed to lose more than 10kg, my insulin resistance is now under control and my menopausal symptoms are almost non-existent. Austen Erickson: Competent doctors, ruined by some of the worst reception staff I have ever encountered! Borderline fraudulent behaviour - I strongly recommend you find another provider if you have any choice in the matter.On one occasion they overcharged (as a new rather than existing patient), and refused to refund the amount after admitting their error - they insisted it could only be offered as a discount on future billings. We have yet to received the promised discount.On our latest appointment, they failed to send correct information via text, and then aggressively accused us of deleting the text they never sent! This error on their part required the appointment to be rescheduled on arrival.Again - avoid avoid avoid unless you have literally no other options.

Avni Pawar: If I could 0 stars, I would. Dr Preda gave me 2 minutes for an initial consultation, asked me a total of 1 questions, which was about what I do for work, and then told me to go on insulin because my sugar was so high. Upon further investigation with my GP, my sugar was in the NORMAL range, but Dr Preda had looked at the wrong result! But because she was in such a rush to move on to the next client so she could make her bag, she asked me to go on insulin when my sugar was in the normal range! This could have been seriously lethal.

Mc Mcx: Saw Veronica. All I can say she doesn't respect her patients. Didn't offer much input on my condition. Even a GP gave me better advice. Absolute waste of time. Avoid at all costs.

Sudha Anura: My daughter had an appointment today and she had planned for it in advance and taken off leave from work and did COVID test too. However without any notice the appointment was cancelled. When my daughter tried to call them to query, they said there was a note that it was cancelled by her???!!!. Not only that, they said they may have had the wrong contact number and they cant do anything about this and offered her an appointment in a months time. she has been seen many time by the specialist and never have mentioned that they had a wrong contact. The reception has not taken any responsibility and simply said they cant do anything. I cant understand how they can simply wipe out an appointment without any explanation. Very much disappointed how they handled this!!!!

T M: Truly wish I could offer praise however my experience was consistent with other reviews stating a patronising and dismissive attitude. I was told to refer to the public health system after I simply queried a portion of information. Demonstrated no interest in a person centred approach. I tried to stay open to her approach however with great disappointment (as I was seeking specialised treatment), I cancelled the appointment midway as it was futile continuing with such obstructive communication. Total waste of time and potentially money (I refused to pay).

C J: Dr Preda saw me for less than 5 minutes at my last appointment, I found her to be very condescending. I felt like I was treated as a number and not as an actual person. I did not find the appointments helpful at all, and the last test ordered was not comprehensive according to my GP, so disappointed.

Amane Lala: My GP called and booked an appointment for me with Dr Preda. My GP then told me that my appointment would be bulk billed. I didn’t book the appointment myself nor speak to anyone there prior to my appointment. When I went in, Dr Preda greeted me very rudely and asked me to leave if I wanted a free appointment. I explained to her during the 5 minutes that she was disrespecting me that I did not book the appointment myself and that I am happy to pay for her service. She then looked at my referral and noticed my GP was from Chester Hill and said ‘Oh your GP is from ChesterHill. That explains it. People from that area want everything for free.’ I was gobsmacked and honestly couldn’t believe she even said that to me. What a discriminatory comment to make.After that ordeal, she then continued to dismiss my condition and told me it wasn’t a big deal. She did not explain my side effects or what I should/shouldn’t do. She did not bother look at my results and asked for them to be done again.After trying to ask her what she was writing up my scripts for and what the medication was for (which she didn’t bother to explain) she spoke to me very condescendingly and said ‘Look, I’m going to staple them together so you don’t get confused’.Honestly I can’t believe she’s even practicing. I walked out of there so upset and will never be returning or recommending anyone to go there. If anyone can tell me how I can follow up on the discriminatory comment she made, I would highly appreciate it.
