Women's and Babies Service: what do users think?
Barry Gordon: So happy for the Wonderful staff and the excellent service. An excellent community Hospital. Thanks to all
Bishwa Basnet: We had our first baby month ago here , me and my wife must say the midwifery team, the nurses and doctors are a bunch of exclusive gems, they have excellent knowledge and experience of what they do , they are also helpful on new parents with everything they need to know before they leave the hospital. You ladies are fabulous.Cheers
Ella: They are negligent and never micro-check the baby's condition before going to the labour room. Even when giving birth, only one midwife gave birth with her arms crossed She did nothing just keep saying "Push when you feel contruction" They're attitude was so bad and rude. Extremely arrogant.
X: The Asia Lady in reception is not helpful. Always make me stressed because of her unprofessional communication. And don’t know how to work effectively with customers
P B: Sitting in Fetal Medicine I can’t help but think of all the pregnant women who have to sit exposed to this horrible mold. The tiles are like $0.20 each to replace.
Youme Hino: I am calling them for my first appointment but they never pick up my phone. Sometimes I call them from 8:15am -2pm but never pick up. Does anyone know the correct number?!!!
Lili Zhang: Great team and excellent service!
debjit sinha: We had our first baby here , I must say the midwifery team and the nurses are a bunch of exclusive gems there , they not only have excellent knowledge of what they do , the are also adept in imparting that knowledge and help equip new parents with everything they need to know before they leave the hospital. You ladies are amazing Kudos to youCheers!
Pritika Uppal: Such good midwives who took great care of me and guided me so well through my labour process and then later with the newborn baby. So glad we chose RPA!
Istahil hussein: Wonderful experience, 10/10
mandy Liang: Is their number for appointment a ghost? We've been calling for so many days and many time, many hours. no one ever answered.
Elizabeth: Be prepared to wait over 2 hours - even if you take an early morning appointment. I walked out in tears
Kate Evans: On Sunday 08/01/2023 I was induced and my beautiful baby boy was born on 09/01/2023, I cannot thank the midwives and nurses enough! They were absolutely incredible, compassionate and understanding. I felt so well cared for and comfortable during my 4 day stay. I really commend the hard work, and passion that the staff have when taking care of the women and babies. I am forever great full and I hope that they all know how amazing they are. Couldn't have don't it without them. Thank you so very much.Xoxo
Catherine Johnston: 5 stars to all the teams at RPA. I was so nervous about labour and delivery in the lead up to heading in, but all the staff are so well trained, compassionate and caring that quickly subsided. From the first few calls to delivery ward for advice on early labour and when to head in all the way through to birth and recovery, each and every staff member was patient, experienced and kind. A special thanks to Roslyn, Hannah and Jordan for helping me deliver my bub and to all the doctors as well. I cant fault the system at all. They were busy but ever so attentive and patient with me. A very positive birth experience with an amazing team. Thank you all for your hard work!
Convey of Light: Always late and over booked appointments. Our appointment was more than 1 hour late. This is bad booking arrangements from rpa, especially for woman who are in their late stages of pregnancy.
Keisha P: Absolutely incredible what they do there, I delivered my baby in the delivery ward with Lucy and Amy and I could not have asked for a better experience. The support from Lorna in birthing centre and Christie who has immersive knowledge guided me along the way. I could not have asked for a better birth. Karen came to do our house visits after and is so well informed and caring. Amazing! Thank you all so much for what you do for us, much appreciated. Keisha, Daniel and baby x
G: The Midwives and who brought my child into this world were amazing, and the Doctors and Nurses who performed surgery on my partner after her birth were incredible, the care they both received during and after I will be forever grateful for.My only issue is with the “inclusion” during the 6 week birthing course, they called Mothers “birthing people” over and over again, is it just a matter of time before the Women and Babies wing becomes the Birthing and Birthed person wing?I understand it’s good to be inclusive, but merely 1 in 50,000 women who give birth in Australia each year don’t identify as a woman, so it feels like being inclusive to that 1 person excludes the 49,999 mums who do the course, and confuses the Midwife/Midperson who’s teaching all of us Birthing People and Ejaculators (dads). But I suppose HR have to make some use of themselves, anyway, thanks for looking after my family, you beautiful, beautiful people, nothing but love for you all.
Samee Hong: I had such a smooth and positive experience at RPA. I had my first child at a private hospital so I had very low expectations with the public system. However, I can confidently say my experience at RPA was very positive. I never had to wait for the midwife appointments, food was surprisingly good and I received such good care for the 2 nights I was there. All the staff members were awesome but I would especially like to thank midwife Mel T for being so patient, caring and informative at each appointment, the birthing team - Emily (?) and the 3rd year student nurse who was so supportive during labour and to midwife Jenny who knew what I needed each time I buzzed the call button in the hours of 12-5am.
Alama: Was born here - first place I have ever been. Emotional every time I think about it - would recommend going here.
Prakash Shrestha: Came in at 7:45Am for an ultrasound. We have already waited for more than 3 hours and no progress at all. I am not sure how long should we wait until someone look after us. Not a good experience for us who came her for the first time.
Sophie P: First time mum here. Went into labour and called them 3 times, each time they told me I “didn’t sound like I was in established labour” and said I shouldn’t come in cause I would be sent home. I eventually started pushing at home so I went to the hospital against their advice - turned out I was 10cm when I arrived. No time for any pain relief or bath. After the birth I was left in the delivery room for 6 hours and the left to take a shower on my own (midwife left the room) where I nearly fainted because of the pain and clots I was passing. Was then left alone with my baby overnight when I could barely get out bed. Took the midwife’s up to 20 mins to respond to my calls. Had PTSD for about 2 weeks because my baby cried so much that night. Not the experience I was hoping for.

Royal Hospital for Women: what do users think?
Jennifer: I was unlucky enough to have surgery at RHW with Dr King Man Wan (Gynaecological Oncologist) (Gynaecology Oncology - Macquarie Ward) after another woman cancelled her surgery with Dr Wan.Dr Wan did not come and speak to me before he performed major abdominal surgery nor did he seek my consent for UNSW students to observe. A number of UNSW students observed my surgery without my consent whilst I was under a general anaesthetic including a hysteroscopy procedure. I was discharged from RHW by Dr Wan following my surgery with a document entitled ‘draft discharge’ that had been prepared three days earlier, wasn’t up to date and with the date of discharge recorded as [XX] I was also discharged by Dr Wan whilst I was suffering with ileus. I had been complaining about the ileus and abdominal pain in the days before Dr Wan discharged me with my complaints all documented within my notes but I was totally ignored. The abdominal pain on the first night at home after discharge was next level and I actually contemplated cutting myself back open to relieve the pain.Dr Wan put me into an MDT (multidisciplinary team) meeting at RHW and his paperwork indicated there was no input or discussion at the MDT from any other specialist other than himself. I found this so bizarre and so I organised another MDT at another cancer centre and from a gynaecological oncology team and it was so so much better, I had options, it was patient focussed and comprehensive with medical oncology input including consideration of other testing, trials and studies. Unlike with Dr Wan that cancer centre team took the time to discuss the MDT discussion and outcome with me. I found Dr Wan did not take the time to listen to me. I felt I needed to advocate for myself. Based on my experience my strong advice to you would be to avoid Dr Wan. I felt very unsafe in his care.I complained about my care at RHW with Dr Wan as set out above, to Victoria Walton, Manager, Clinical Practice and Improvement SESLHD, I sent Victoria a detailed chronology with my concerns, in turn she responded with a one page letter apparently approved by the RHW Manager, Donna Garland which referred to ‘emails’ and did not identify or address any of my concerns. Absolutely no accountability or interest in improving care or outcomes for women with cancer.
Mac Nicoll: The birth of our daughter wasn’t straight forward but the staff (reception, midwifes, nurses and doctors) all had my wife’s and daughter’s best interests at heart throughout.Everything was explained appropriately, the choices made were ours to make based on accurate information and ultimately our daughter was born with numerous care providers working in an extremely attentive and professional manner.Recovery was equally excellent. We stayed in hospital for 3 days after and the advice from the midwives on how to care for our daughter was amazing. We learnt so much in such a short space of time and nothing was too much for them. If we needed anything, they were always there ready to provide!(On a side note: It frustrates me that people write 1 star reviews without contemplating the fact that medical professionals desperately want people to remain as safe as possible at all times. I understand that mothers have birth plans but sometimes it isn’t appropriate to follow what you ‘want’ to happen. The advice given is because the doctors, nurses and midwives (with vast experience) want you to be safe. To assume you know better than people who have trained for decades is extremely arrogant!Secondly, giving a 1 star review based on a specific individual or because someone was rude to you once, or parking for vehicles over 2m isn’t provided are terrible reasons for a 1 star. Be assured that the MEDICAL CARE at RHW is second to none!)
Kyliee Elaine's: Staff are very friendly they are so helpful i can't wait for the future eith the royal ad they have helped so much already
Y Kooy: I delivered my first baby here with emergency c-section. The midwives, doctors and staffs were all very professional and I don’t feel the emergency at all. Everything was carried out smoothly and we were well taken care off after too. Awesome experience. Thank you so much doctors, midwives, anaesthetist and entire team. 🤩
Jaimee Gad: After experiencing a traumatic and life threatening birthing experience at Sutherland Hospital, I was very hesitant to give birth at a hospital again, so opted for a homebirth. However due to unforeseen circumstances it was necessary for me to birth at Royal Womens. Honestly this hospital gave me faith in humanity again and my birth and postnatal experience was literally more than I could have asked for. Each midwife throughout the entire process was respectful and kind, helpful and reassuring and made me feel so safe and well cared for. Thankfully everything went wonderfully and we had a healthy beautiful baby girl without any problem. Thank you so much for wonderful care 💗
Ivana Strmenova: I have nothing but a praise to say about RHW. I gave birth on 19/12/2022 and the level of care, support and professionalism has been amazing. My pregnancy hadn’t been a smooth sailing so I experienced different departments throughout (triage, day care, doctors appointments, later lactation support) and have nothing but an excellent experience. Midwifes and nurses in the antenatal and postnatal wards were simply superb, really friendly and provided excellent support, guidance and reassurance. This was my first baby and if I have any more children in the future I will definitely choose Royal again.
Anthony Caruso: Unbelievably rude staff and horrible communication. Have your baby elsewhere.
Terrence H: my wife was transfered to RHW and our daughter borned there. very kind and experienced doctors and nurses. We won't forget their helps.
Georgina Ashton: Can't thank the staff enough at this hospital really you are all so amazing at you're job, really fast with everything letters phone calls etc getting surgery with in 6months just amazing thank you ladies for really taking care of me before during and after laporoscroapy surgery.Thank you girls
cheekie1973: The receptionist is horrible!! Think she's from the UK or Ireland !!
Som Chutima: I had Caesarean section on 18/10/22 that was my first baby thank you to all doctors, midwives and the nurses to gave me great experience i ever had you all been so nice and kind that helped me a lot to get through that difficult time.
Jolin Jiang: The doctors and nurses are professional, friendly and understanding. I requested for local anesthetic for a minor procedure and everyone was onboard. They do put patients’ will and well-being first.
Daaf Jansen: 0 parking for cars over 2m high
Michela Alesse: Outstanding hospital and staff. I gave birth to my daughter here and everyone contributed to make my experience absolutely beautiful. A special shout out to my midwife Jo Thomas, the midwife and the student midwife Jane and Jo, who both assisted me during birth in every possible way, the midwife’s from the post natal ward Michele and Lay and the lactation consultant Kathy. Such caring, sweet and professional ladies. I would not have done it without you. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts!! Michela
Jarred: My wife and I had a good experience here with the birth of our first baby. The midwives are all very friendly and helpful. The antenatal and birth experience was great. We weren’t able to get into the Midwifery Group Practice even though we tried to enrol as soon as we could, and had to settle for GP shared care.
sam: Loved it
Ankita Vyas: Dear All staff,Thank you for giving me good treatment.Specially thanks to EPAC Nursing Unit Manager she's really kind and nice.Really appreciate each and every staff members who look after me. Day Surgery and Macquarie Ward staff also really nice and kind all Nurses,Doctors and theatre team.I know thank you is not enough but heartedly Thank you once again to all Royal Hospital Women's Staff. Stay Blessed ♥️♥️♥️Kind RegardsAnkita Vyas.
Kian Richard: My wife and I had the most amazing experience through the midwife program. We had a magical unforgettable birth of our first child in our apartment. Through out the pregnancy we had a wonderful experience with our assigned midwife Natalia who is an angel, she was super helpful very informative and genuinely loves her job. As did the other midwives she saw on the od time Natalia wasn’t available. On the night my wife went into labour Melissa came out and guided us through the later hours of labour until Natalia join for the last couple of hours.Melissa is an actual angel also and made this experience the best thing to happen in my life. I can not recommend getting into the midwives program highly enough or organising a home birth!!!The care they both took was so gentle considerate, always asking permission before for touching my wife and making her feel so empowered to choose never forcing or over stepping any boundaries! The knowledge these woman have is stunning. The Midwives are there to help and guide you through the birth basically giving you as much or as little support as you need while in labour. Truly stoked with the out come and home much they helped after basically cleaning up everything and helping my wife into bed to rest. They hung around to do all the checks and make sure we’re safe and good to go.The continued support days after is so genuine and to see them so excited that our bubs and us are thriving is so awesome!Huge thank you to all the Midwives and support that goes into the Midwife program her huge love you amazing people! ❤️❤️❤️
Silke O'Callaghan: We couldn't be more grateful to have been part of the MGP Program. Our midwife Natalia was so caring, knowledgable and experienced that we couldn't have asked for a better person to deliver our baby. It was refreshing to feel that birth was still considered a natural process and that my birth wishes were respected. My husband and I will never forget when our special soul was born in the birthing centre. During my pregnancy I also received support from some of the other midwives (Ella and Steph) who were also so lovely. All other staff around us during the birth were also so lovely and kind. I felt really safe and cared for. The midwifes are absolute goddesses and the provision and continuity of care provided by the midwives of this program is outstanding!
Sean Holt: To the blonde brute at the front desk, you made my experience visiting at this hospital nothing short of horrible. If there is ever a live action musical of Monsters Inc, I highly suggest you go for the role of Roz - uncanny.
Alison Palmer: Near impossible to navigate around hospital with the construction followed signs for pedestrian that lead to a loading dock once inside there are 3 different reception areas with no indication to which one you need to go to reception staff are not helpful and take forever to book you in. Then once booked in they still get your name wrong

Westmead Women's and New Born Health Clinic: what do users think?
Vandana Mohture: I am highly impressed by the staff and the facility. I agree waiting period is there, but if you accept that, everything else is worthwhile.
Lupe Kunnibhavi: Nurses here absolutely caring deserve more pay, they are attentive, patient, service is great positive environment they make you feel safe and at ease. I can't thank them enough. Helping us new parents and same goes for the birthing unit nurses.
Ai Ashour: I would not even give 1 star. The worst! They booked me for a plan c section 1 week after the due date. They said come in for emergency if you have a contraction. What a horrible service
Alan P. Schumacher: Terrible experience! Westmead is the worst hospital! My wife had difficult labour. Instead of being gentle and supportive in the middle of the night, the midwives/nurses were rough, no gynaecologist/obstetrician around!
Samad Khan: The nurses, doctors and the midwives are absolute legends.
Mermin Mermin: Emma is the Rudest receptionist. It's my 3rd visit here and first pregnancy so im new to the whole process and this woman will make sure you suffer and humiliate you just because she sees another ethnicity. She doesn't want to help when asked for information and lie to your face when i complained to the midwife about her behaviour towards me. Then she started acting up all nice.
Angelic K: I have been trying to ring almost for 5 days straight to rebook for an appointment. From their request. I've been on the phone waiting for more than 15mins and I hang up try again. The line is either busy or taking to long to answer. I'm not going to wait up to 30mins to be answered. I don't understand why it takes so long. I've had issues all the time everytime I try to ring in. I've rung even 8:30 when it opens and not answered. I rang different times of the day and still the same. I managed to get through to them once and got hanged up on. The answering machine recorded message is quite annoying and so repatative. This is very annoying and unprofessional!
M Rehman: Couldn't have asked for better care if I tried. My first birth was at nepean and to say it was a traumatic experience is an understatement. This time round I was at westmead and from my prenatal care all the way through was amazing. Dounia my midwife was so supportive and encouraged me through my birth plan Evan when I wanted to give up and get the epidural. I felt empowered by the time my baby was in my arms.Once giving birth i than went up into the post natal ward and all the nurses were so lovely and willing to help with any questions I had. Their teamwork was 10/10!I just wanted to say a huge thank you to the whole woman's health team who made this lifetime memory such an amazing experience for me, so many people opt for the private health sector because they want better care but I am so grateful and happy to say the public health sector at this hospital takes pride in looking after their patients and babies to the highest level. Thank you again
SAYRAO Molder: Always nice and kind
Mark Xiao: All the nurses and doctors at Westmead are absolute heroes. They helped us through one of the most difficult chapters of our lives with tremendous compassion and kindness. We will always be grateful to them and we will never forget what they did for us.
Jane Moylan: Staff are exceptional friendly, helpful very polite
Misty Hohaia: This is the worst hospital if you can avoid coming here you should. If you are considered high risk. Just abort it they say. As if my unborn child's life means nothing. And the waiting for you to hear them talk a load of rubbish is unbelievable. I was there for hours. What's the use of appointments?I haven't been there for an appointment for a while now. They don't seem to do much.I am terrified for the day I go into labor. This use to be a good hospital. I had my first born here. It's gone down big time. Such a shame.Just an add on here. The maternity ward is not much better. There was this lady who apparently has to teach how to mak your babys botle depite one havin experience. She was the rudest. Also they dont help with botles for example the hospital I had my two previous sons at Canterbury Hospital which has the best Prenatal and postnatal treatment and care would provide botles. Not at Westmead. Some of midwives where wonderfull. But that so called botle expert shouldnt be working there. All starf should help with botle feeding. That woman has no place in maternity ward.
Amy D: I birthed my son in 2021, the hospital was understandably understaffed and overwhelmed. Everything was very rushed and I wasn't treated very nicely at all. My first midwife made me crawl on the ground to my bed while in active labour.. she wouldn't help me. Most of the midwives didn't really help me breastfeed and judged me as I started formula feeding. There were a small amount of very nice midwives.I have to birth there again this year and dreading it
Jasmine Burton: Stayed 5 weeks in this ward . No one likes to be a patient but the staff Made me very comfortable. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and very professional. Also, patient information is readily available as displayed on information boards . I must say other than being a patient I also learnt a lot .
neontetra4444: Highly professional and caring medical staff. Truly above and beyond professionalism and medical care. Processing and administration was swift and all staff were genuinely caring and attending.
Jongbae Lee: The woman in the women's health entrance was so unkind. The woman should be kind to patients. not so good
T M: 2015 - was in Labor all overnight because short of doctors which is fine but then when handover with morning staff, they said had to have a csection because of stress baby was in, midwives said to get baby out now or doctors will take control so gave birth. Then no breakfast, or lunch because they didn't have my room number on the food list.2017 - one midwife no doctor, baby came fast and all was good until transferred to room, no food, dehydrated as hell and no breakfast because again room wasn't on patient list. Gave me breakfast at lunch, I wanted immediate discharge.2021 - wrong details given in initial medical record so big fuss over BMI and all sorts for nothing, moved address and continued attending woman's health at westmead, they said was algood until 34 weeks appt and they said I had to change hospitals to Auburn, told them I was familiar with this place but they don't care. Have to go through all again with Auburn hospital. Not happy with westmead organisation of things. Heard about Auburn but can't possibly get any worse than this.
Lili Mkr: Had two kids 2014 and 2015 amazing experienceThe staff was very nice, supportive and carryingIt comes down maybe how you approach the staff too- they work long hours and support a lot of patients the least you can do is be nice to themI have another one on the way in 2021 will reassess that
mohammed mohiuddin: Doctors and management is least bothered only there to miss use the tax payers money,And funniest side is when u put a detailed complainer to on web form still you will not hear from the management worst hospital of Sydney
Roberto Aguayo: In this place discriminate males. They don't allow husbands to be with his wife. In the waiting room. They prefer have then all crowded in a 3 by 4 section
Tiphanie Koh: I have had great experiences, can undrstand that with the public system, the hours these nurses and admin staff have to work at the front line during these crazy Covid times. The wait time might be long, the drs might be super direct, the nurses might brush you off but the work they do is amazing! The nurses/midwives i have encountered with in day assessment unit have been lovely and did what they could to speed up the processes so i could be discharged.

North Shore Private Hospital: what do users think?
Mike Tresidder: I only have an option of giving a maximum of five stars to represent my recent experience at RNSH and North Shore Private Hospital. You deserve more. From the moment I entered your unique environment, I was treated as if I was your only patient, nothing was a problem and everything was preemptive, making me feel comfortable and relaxed. I didn't want for anything. Enormous thank you to the nurses and doctors in the Cath Lab and an equally enormous thank you to the nurses, attendants and specialists who provided my after care unit in North Shore Private. We all know you are worth more money. We say it all the time. I will be rooting for you in the next round of talks and wish you and all associated with you the very best of health and happiness. Great work everyone. Thank you.
Margaret Macken: Easy to find, parking out front, I went on a Saturday. Coffee shop as you walk in.
Lulu “Lulu”: Shocked to find ants in maternity rooms. Rooms not properly cleaned and linens not changed unless requested. The nursery facility staff suggest not to use the overnight service during hospital stay unless you just gave birth. Pervasive care and hygiene issues at this maternity ward.
Jonathan Giddy: Like many hospitals, they struggle to get enough staff here. That said the staff are caring and hard working. The facilities are fine and the surgical teams are excellent.
Ali Ahrari: Weak isolation and safe distance measures in children section.
Lisa A: North Shore Private is one of the best hospitals. They provide good service, excellent team and nurses that will look after you
Noah Campbell: Deplorable experience, am a current patient. Operation was done on Sunday haven’t been given WATER OR FOOD. Complained to the ICU nurse who’s decided that the best policy is to ignore me. I have had to ring their executive suite and make a formal complaint. Haven’t had any sleep since Sunday. This is the WORST private hospital, go anywhere else.
Paula C: Caring staff
Louise: I have been here on a few occasions and can safely say that when you're really unwell, vulnerable: unable to advocate for your own health/rights and overall care... It's nice to know that there's a hospital that truly does have patient centred care outcomes as a priority. Are they perfect, no. Do they listen, yes, mostly. And when they don't, they have processes in place to help navigate the complex systems. It sounds simple but I've been admitted via emergency to a number of hospitals and this place and the SAN are definitely, in my experience, the best.I've been under several different treating teams here: gynaecology, gastroenterology, oncology and obstetrics and all have tried to assist and provide ongoing and updated care reviews and information.Would recommend and will continue to pay out of pocket to ensure my health and the health of my family are prioritised.STAFF: Seem to genuinely care. They have hired some Korean (ex doctor/dentists/specialists) as general nurses who are incredibly talented!LOCATION: Easy taxi access and train station not too far away (5-10 min walk). Also have on site parking with daily rates around $40 or so.FOOD: Allergies tailored to. Food is pretty good but hospital standards.OTHER NICE STUFF (not available in many public hospitals): crushed ice (great for pre and post surgery when you're on near NIL by mouth), warmed blankets (amazingly small, hugely comforting when days are spent in otherwise, pain).
Silvia Buanne: Warmest hugs to all the wonderful staff I met during my time there. Ward 3 were absolutely wonderful, patient with dietary requests, helping me with pain relief to showering me, all within a timely manner, a smile and showing compassion and care. My surgeons, what can I possibly say about Dr Ball & Dr Wong. Without doubt my absolute hero's! No wonder I've had a fabulous recovery. Dr Sharpe, thank you for keeping me safe during the procedure, I did wake up smiling. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, job well done everyone.
Shaun Kitching: I'm not one to usually give reviews but I felt like I had to in this case. Northshore Private Hospital is absolutely brilliant, in particular the amazing and friendly staff in ICU. They went out of their way in every single aspect you can imagine and for a stressful week of our lives, they made things so much easier. Thanks to everyone for looking after my wife during her brain surgery.
Ramesh Bhattarai: I had Thoracotomy surgery on 13th December 2022 and spent 7 nights at North Shore Private. I would like to express my gratitude to Dr.Russell Brereton ( 10 stars if I can) and his team . I am so grateful for all the beautiful nurses including SIMI and some other nurses that I couldn’t remember their names. I would also like to express my special thanks to ICU staff. I really had a good time during my hospital stay So, highly recommended NSPH. Thank you
David Summergreene: My partner was scheduled for a day procedure today. The surgeon (no blame apportioned) wanted a scan to check on a small improbable issue... just in case type scenario. My partner was allocated to a ward with the decision entirely taken out of her hands, irrespective of our circumstances. The she was told the best the hospital could do was a scan ( no more than 5 mins duration) more than 24 hours after her operation.Tell me how this is acceptable in a private hospital. I on the other hand tore a muscle in my leg and the local public hospital who are vastly under resourced did a scan in under 3 hours.Shame on you NSH... stop putting profits ahead of people ... and make sure those paying people can get half way adequate service!!!!
Harry Harb: I’m so impressed and so grateful! My experience has been so great thus far. I’ll be in hospital for an additional week. But want to thank you all for such a great service! A special thanks to JanRungruengwattanachai and Stephanie that have been an amazing and made my stay so wonderful.
Iris Chan: We had a fantastic experience with the hospital. It was our first child and the team made ensure everything was handled professionally for us. We didn't need to worry about anything since we booked in with them until they got discharged.Efficient services, friendly people, and the midwives all went beyond what were expected. Can't wait to stay here again for our second child. The food was amazing too!
Shirley Jia: I stayed 5 nights, and all midwives are super nice and helpful!
Vanessa Cox: Excellent Staff.
Tanya Maxwell: Still have to wear a mask but I found my specialist suite easily. My Dr was amazing and I left feeling happier than going in. Beautiful hospital and gardens. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Had no problems with my wheelchair.
Hakan Ersoy: North Shore Private Hospital is one of the major private hospitals we have in lower North Shore with good service, excellent team to look after you
EKANAYAKE: I'm waiting in the admission waiting room, 40mins late for the infusion. Who is paying for my car park for waiting here ? We gave to change all my plans due to this waiting. Shocking. I want administration to pay for car park for this waste of time and delays. Disapointed and frustrated
Milan Thapa: Worst service I have seen in my lifetime I can swear on anyone headPlease don’t go thereI went in an emergency I thought I would die took them 2 hours just to have a look at me and did nothing left me to die on the steel benchWorst experience ever, over the hospital ever visitedRudeness is a constant from staff all over the hospital but please this need to changeI was so mad at myself and my family for taking me there and see they charged me 400 dollar for just waiting to die there it’s not funny tDoes look like no ones want to help you.

Calmbirth - Royal Hospital for Woman: what do users think?
Vanessa Andreina Mendoza Rodriguez: Excellent course for new parents, we learned so many techniques and tools for that special moment of birthing your little baby. 200% recommended.
Elizabeth Harding: Superb antenatal course, can’t recommend highly enough. Our instructor Natlie’s passion was so obvious and made for a really enjoyable weekend, even though thanks to lockdown we had to do the course on zoom. We came away with pages and pages of notes and practical tips; my partner and I both feel so much more confident going into the birth now.

Sydney Southwest Private Hospital: what do users think?
Cosimo: Friendly staff and caring
Bill Y: It's one of the worst hospitals in Liverpool. My surgery appointment was at 2:30 pm, however I didn't get in until 7:30 pm. Not only that, when I woke up and asked to see the doctor, the nurses told me he had left already and he did not leave a report or anything to give you. So bad. Please don't waste your time in this hospital. Not recommended at all.
Stephen Wood: Nursing staff don't seem to care they treat new mothers as if they should know what to do
Ghassan Esa: Just reach today to do surgery .. I met Jinki she is a very helpful nurse make everything easy .. later will write my comment about full services .. but for now thank you Jinki , hope her name is correct
Hazel Wardale: Clean in all areas. Polite staff and helpful. Get there early for parking & bring your credit card. Or if not staying long park in Liverpool Westfield's (first 3 hrs are free).
anu vv: excellent service, special thanks to simi midwife 💝
Adelina Austin: Admission was easy, receptionistWas helpful & friendlyEmanuel & Jonah we’re great staff members…they couldn’t do enough for meMarkus was also very friendly & HelpfulKirstan on the Ward was very friendlyAlways checked to see if I’m OK &Answered every question with explanations & put me at easeMy stay at the Hospital was excellent
G M: Dr B Oteng-Boateng was very professional & extremely well experienced in surgically removing my son's tooth. It was fast and painless. I was very happy and relieved that my son was looked after by this doctor. The nurse was very lovely and put us at ease as well. Thank you! Much appreciated.
Ellie Fawcett: Went here for a day surgery, was in and out in about four hours. Very quick and organised and nurses are lovely and caring.
Rebecca M: Hospital was absolutely awesome! Unfortunately 2 nurses - Loida & Thi were absolutely horrible. Wouldn’t help me out of bed post surgery, refused to get me anything to drink and kept slamming my door while I was sleeping. So disappointing.
Lorraine: I was booked in for a proceedure for about a week and I was scheduled to arrive at the hospital at 10am yesterday. I was admitted yesterday morning at 10am and I was not taken into surgery until 6pm. I was without food since 12am and no water since 8am 10 hours! 8 hours waiting in an uncomfortable hospital gown with no underware. At 1pm I advised the nurse that I was worried for my children who would be coming home from school at 3.30 and she advised I'd be home by 4 and didnt seem to care, she said I could come back another day if I couldn't stay. When i asked if the theatre order could be changed she said "no". At 3pm I was advised I was 3rd in line only to discover on my own that those who were having a proceedure with my surgeon, and were scheduled to go in after me were being brought in ahead of me. When I asked why, the nurses were very confused. On checking the theatre notes they advised that they were waiting on some equipment to be brought over from the public hospital. So I guess the theatre order could be changed, but only at the need of the hospital. This is extremely poor planning as there was a week to organise equipment. When I was taken to theatre I still had to wait another 40 minutes where I was told the decision was made to obtain the equipment from Campbelltown hospital instead. I was dehydrated, cold and extremely nervous. I felt as though none of the nurses cared at all, with one saying "theres nothing we can do". And "the proceedures that have gone ahead of you are quick ones"....mine was also a "quick one" with only 30mins theatre time needed. I would rather have been sent home and been asked to come back later so that I could be with my kids and be comfortable. This has been my worst hospital experience by far. I have had many surgeries at various hospitals and I have never felt as uncared for and alone. I was very sick from the anesthetic and was throwing up. In all my surgeries I have never felt i'll from anesthetic. I pray that I never need a proceedure at Sydney Southwest Private again. I have always used my faith in our nurses and hospital system to relieve my nerves when I have to have something done but I'm afraid this experience has destroyed that faith...and to be treated this way in a private hospital where I am paying top dollar is disgusting. I am absolutely crushed.
Harry L: My wife gave birth to our first born here.We had a pleasant experience. The staff were lovely, supportive and caring.Big shout out to Edna, Florence and Sharon for making the transition to being first time parents less daunting!
rabiah 8bp: Bad experience I have ever had, I would not recommend this service! We ended up going to a public hospital and they treated us with care
Ignatios T (iggy): Very professional and empathetic staff.Required urgent surgery and was accomadated for within 5 days. Own room was great with decent servings of food provided and they allowed me to have visitors and bring my laptop so I can continue working whilst recovering.Nurses were very attentive and caring, was further provided free physio advice for my after care/post op procedure.
Brendan Dunne: From checking in to checking out was fantastic. I was looked after by very professional and caring staff. I’ve couldn’t have been in better hands.
Esrah Pratt: Terribly unorganized. Very bad communication. As a nursing and surgical hospital it falls very short of patient and family expectations. Avoid!!
aneesha kay: Receptionist was very rude! Nurse Linden or Linda didn't show any professionalism or tact. Nurses Lindell tried to keep my fathers Endone prescription saying 'he doesn't need this" despite a script being written up by a specialist!! Unbelievable and INCREDIBLY suspicious. She gave a plethora of misinformation.Nurse Lindell/Linda you should re-evaluate your motivations in being a nurse!!! @ the person who hired her, please URGENTLY re-evalue your vetting process!!!The feedback about the others nurses was positive which is why I rated 2 stars. Such a shame that bad potatoes ruined the experience 👎🏽
Raii Khan: On arrival the receptionist was defensive and rude, not sure why =SNurse Liden (could be Lido or Lidel) was also rude and did not want to hand patient (my father) his doctor prescribed Endone. Be careful of this nurse if you have an Endone prescription, make sure she does not hold onto it.Mind you other nurses who interacted with my father were lovely and made him feel at ease.
Warren Downes: I just want to thank everyone there for the outstanding care I received, the doctors were great and the Nurses are superstars. I was in for 6 nights and the team did such a great job helping me though a pretty tough time and managing my pain.
Alec Field: Very disappointing experience. Having had surgery before at st Vincent’s private, I came to southwest syd private assuming it would be on par. I was very wrong. 4hr wait for elective surgery. Why was my admission time so early? Badly scheduled. All the drugs prescribed couldn’t be given to me at the hospital. I was in a lot of pain but their pharmacy had closed so I had to drive around trying to find an after hrs pharmacy. Pharmacy I went to was out of stock and the other one was closed. So I went home with no painkillers. Surgery went well otherwise.
