Karmaela Michelle Zhang: Positive:Communication,QualityHow is there only a handful of ratings!? Missed this place like crazy during Covid. Great staff and students, good location and plenty of variety to keep you coming back, just be ready for a challenge.
Fei Cai: so, what’s the difference between Bobbi’s pole dance and Bobbi’s gold?
Michelle Wong: The plushest carpet you could ever hope to dance on! The decor is gorgeous and there are huge mirrors too.

Duality Pole Dancing Studio: what do users think?
Maria: Duality is an incredibly supportive, inclusive studio. I felt immediately welcomed as a beginner and never pressured to do more than I was capable of and ready for. In the year I've been attending I've always felt celebrated and encouraged in my progress. The instructors are so knowledgable and truly care about their students. Couldn't recommend highly enough.
Melanie E: Beautiful studio with supportive and encouraging teachers! Chloe and Mimi have created such a welcoming environment for everyone, it's a very non-judgemental space and I have so much fun taking classes here.
Mona Breeze: Coming from someone with no dance experience or coordination, Duality really has changed my life and taught me how to move confidently. Mimi and Chloe pour their love into the studio and you can feel their energy radiate through every class. I love letting my inner-self let loose while having so much fun along the way!
Ashlee Negrone: Duality Pole is a pole dancing studio like no other. It is an incredible space run by incredible women. Mimi and Chloe’s fun and individualised teaching styles (against the background of some top-tier music) truly makes for an exciting and empowering experience in every class. Duality has created such an inclusive and loving community, and has a warm and welcoming energy which is present as soon as you walk in the door. The range of classes, with the perfect balance between challenge and comfort, means you can never get enough of the different styles of dance. Their conditioning classes provide an amazing source of strength and flexibility. I can’t recommend it highly enough to anyone who is looking for exercise which is mentally and physically transformative.
Elli-Jane Mielcarz: Gorgeous studio with professional, friendly and supportive teachers. Great variety of classes available all through the week. Separate bathrooms with showers make it so convenient to go straight to or from the studio. Happy place 😍
Shane Derrick: Want to loose your reality, come to Duality ;)
Rebecca Lumbroso: There are very few places you can walk into feeling like an absolute mess and leave feeling like a million bucks. Duality has been such a safe haven, a place where you can be challenged and become stronger whilst being surrounded by incredible people who lift you up (figuratively and sometimes literally - a little leg up haha). Cannot recommend Duality for anyone starting out in pole or wanting to return after an absence - Chloe and Mimi are the best!
Michelle Zhang (Mikki): Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityThe poles are tall and the studio is plenty spacious, with beautiful ambient lighting. If you're looking to get fluid and bendy, this is the spot! There's a great sense of community and the instructors are incredible people who have been nothing short of supportive and motivational during the lockdown.
Lucy Davies: I walked into Duality Pole Studio and immediately felt transported to an exciting and sexy new world. From the positive affirmations on the lilac walls as you walk down the delicious smelling stairwell, to the show stopping lighting and floor to ceiling mirrors as you enter the studio, you know you're somewhere special.Coming back to pole dancing after time off, I felt very comfortable at Duality. The teachers are so neutering and kind and it's encouraged to do what feels good for you. I always feel safe and included in my classes and it's a very non threatening, relaxed environment. I can be myself and there is the sense of whoever you are and whatever you're capable of, you are celebrated at Duality. The range of classes offered also means you can progress at your level and improve skills in flexibility, floor, chair, strip and dance, along with traditional pole tricks. There is passion behind the creation of every move taught at Duality and the enthusiasm, love and fun you experience is genuine.I always leave Duality feeling better than when I came in!
Mary N: I love coming to Duality because it’s a diverse community that makes everyone feel welcome and comfortable. There’s no judgement whatsoever. The teachers and students are very supportive of each other and that’s what makes it such a safe space.

Pole Athletica: what do users think?
Evelyn Szabo: I have attended a few trial classes, so if you are THAT person (like me), and you don’t want to attend 4+ like me, feel free to read along!First: Pole Athletica IS pricier than other places, but this is due to several reasons I noted (and hence why I chose them):- They break down each technique so you do everything correctly (this is especially good if you want to avoid injury or if you want to look good doing pole), rather than showing and just rushing expecting you to do it.- They CAN and answer all questions you have about a certain technique or movement. (I did have quite a lot and they are very happy to answer thoroughly!)- No making choreography next to the pole while not learning anything. If you just want to dance around and only learn one thing per class, choose other places! I personally want to pay to learn techniques and once I learnt them, I want to learn to put them together, not dincy-dancing next to the pole without hardly any learning especially proper technique.- The studio is actually clean, does not smell, is not crowded and they also do ask students to clean their poles and mats after themselves- They have mats (a big plus that is missing from any other places) and provide shaving cream/grip if you don’t have any (such a plus).- Again, they are clean and not overcrowded. Cleanliness was a big plus for me once I experienced other studios. It is very disheartening to rock up to a trial class and step into a studio with closed windows after a rigorously large class that just ended with seemingly no cleaning whatsoever in-between sessions. I personally really enjoy a clean, tidy environment and this studio seems to appreciate it too!- They offer multiple free self-led classesIt is the tiny details, but also the teacher’s technique and experience (most of them have some sort of dancing/athletic background) which I also missed from other places. They are also very friendly and funny.I do absolutely recommend looking around and finding what is best for you, but I did want to make a few points as I was looking for this when “shopping around”.Updated review after 2 terms at PA:If you are still thinking if you should sign up, please do! I cannot tell how wonderful it is to see your body achieve things you didn’t know it could. I have self esteem issues and due to past trauma, I feel often disconnected from my body. I always felt like my body let me down in several aspects of my life. Seeing how it is able to learn what I put my mind to , how it does not demand a lot to help me achieve my goals is a true confidence booster. I have stepped on a self love journey and acceptance via pole that I was working in therapy for years for. I do think if you have past trauma or low self esteem or hate how you look, pole together with therapy helps a lot.I also want to say kudos to Shea and Vittoria as I naturally gravitated towards them and they make me feel incredibly comfortable. I still struggle with anxiety, fears and mental block but they are always there to help and catch me (both metaphorically and even physically if needed). Thanks, PA for becoming a safe space for me to learn and grow and heal.
Sasha Jose: Instructor SHEA made jokes about people with special needs multiple times in class. I am writing this under as different name I feel even if I brought it up they would try to defend themselves instead of apologise. He also touches without asking
Gabriela Nunes de Mello Vieira: I had my first pole experience here with the Pole Athletica team, and it was amazing!I had a lot of fun there in every class, and I could also feel my body getting stronger and it's a good place to make friends too!I recommend it to everyone who is looking to try new things and have fun.My gratitude to all teachers Jennifer, Shea, Jacob, I will carry with me all of you in my heart!
D G: What drew me the most was they had male members so I wouldn't feel self-conscious of joining an all female group!Having loads of fun learning pole techniques and I can feel my whole body is conditioning and toning every class. The instructors are professional, friendly, helpful and definitely know what they're doing!Love how I can utilise the practice time slots for free. Their app is absolutely on point and reasonably easy to use for me to book in sessions ahead.Just started one term and I can't wait til next term to begin my level 2 journey.
Rosie Goodridge: Honestly was so nervous starting Pole, I was new to Sydney and never touched a Pole in my life - a complete newbie! I had a free trial with Shea who made me feel so relaxed and comfortable and I had so much fun. I signed up for a 5 week intro course to see if I'd like it (I have serious a habit of quitting things so wanted to give myself 5 weeks) wow that 5 weeks was so much fun! I met some amazing girls and even though I'm a 'bigger' girl I was so amazed at how much my body was doing with some practice! I'm now nearly at the end of my level 1 course, about to start level 2! I feel so much stronger and there is nothing like being able to do a skill after weeks of trying, and the whole class clapping and rallying round you! The Facebook group is also a lovely touch, ways to see what everyone is achieving and it's so motivating! Thanks so much to Jen and the team for always being on hand to help and making me feel like I can do it!
Pauline Malcouronne: Great little pole studio with lovely people.2 floor spaces for pole 1-2 other spaces for additional classes.
Wennafiandy Tantiono: If you are reading this review that means you are considering starting your pole journey or continuing to do so at Pole Athletica. Trust me, trust your gut, do it!!! I started my journey 12 weeks ago with hesitation, I was not confident at all in pursuing pole dance, I rarely exercise and had limited belief on lifting myself up. After I attended the trial class with Shea, I was intrigued at how focused I was with my own body. I CANNOT lift myself whatsoever on my first week of class, but I keep on going and didn't give up. It didn't get easier but I get stronger! Although I only come for one class per week, I am grateful that I can finally perform the core skills that were taught up until now (some definitely still need lots of improvement), I am looking forward to more practices for my body conditioning and getting better. I love the supportive community at Pole Athletica, all of the teachers and of course the fun classes! Can't wait to start my Pole Fit 2 journey! xx
Taylor Le: The community at PA is really supportive and gives great directions. I struggle with self-esteem and confidence and doing pole boosted the both of them. I especially like how the instructors and management take the time to teach you and advise you on what you need to correct in a gentle way, so you can progress smoothly.I'm really happy i started pole, if you're curious i really hope you try it here :D
BK Lee: Before I began pole, I had a prejudice that this is something that underdressed-people do to show off their figures (and yes I will punch myself of the past for thinking so). IT IS NOT! and NEVER WILL IT BE..! as the name Pole Athletica suggests, the emphesis should be on the "Athletica" part. Yes it make you work out and gives you the post-work out mucle pain evenly across your whole body the following day. You can really really learn about your body control (posture, the use of mucles, developing the core etc.) and strengthen them and this all comes with a rich community full of support and laugh ;). I am so proud that I had the guts to sign up for a 1time trial class that opened the whole new world of fun for me. If you are looking for something to work out but board of reps in gym, you might find this interesting as I did.
Hyelin Park: Obsessed with making profits. I was their loyal student for over a year. I dislocated my shoulder and couldn’t use my shoulder at all for over a month let alone pole dancing. They wouldn’t let me use the passes I had paid once my shoulder is recovered.I didn’t ask for a refund, but simply a chance to use the pre-paid passes in the next term. The answer was No and my passes expired at the end of the term. I’m so turned off by the fact that they call me FAMILY only when I pay money 😅
Natalia Djohari: Back in 2019 I convinced myself to try a trial class and to this day I’m so glad I made this decision. There’s nothing else quite like pole and the classes in pole athletica are amazing.I like that the pole fit classes focus more on the strengthening and skills on the pole itself as I didn’t have a dance background and was worried about that. That way I can slowly choose my pace and slowly get better at it. And when I want to try more dance the option is still there through the many enhancement classes. All the instructors here are all so amazing too! They’re all very encouraging and supportive. I remember being so surprised they even remember my name back in the first few weeks.I’ve never felt so strong and flexible in my life before and I have pole athletica to thank for that. From the splits intensive classes to the pole fit class and even combos I’ve adored all the classes I’ve been to and I can’t recommend it highly enough!
Sriya Vipin: Pole athletica is not just an exercise studio, it’s an experience. The vibrant community and continuous support is the reason I come back every term. This place has changed my life and given me something to look forward to every week, I can’t thank the trainers for enough for the constant support ❤️❤️❤️
Tracy Kwong: Love the community they have here and the focus on techniques.
Vishaka: Love this place and the confidence and motivation it gives me after every class! Best way to start the week plus everyone is super friendly and helpful which is a bonus.
Georgia L: I started here recently as an absolute pole beginner and I'm already shocked at how much I can do with a few weeks training. All the trainers are super encouraging and inclusive, I'll definitely be coming back for a second term!
Tania Sheldon: I have always prided myself on my discipline when it comes to fitness, but after a complete change in personal circumstances (Moved from Adelaide to Sydney for work), I wanted to do something ‘different’ and challenge myself. I considered myself to be the most uncreative and inflexible person but after walking past Pole Athletica last December and saw the ‘come and try’ notice, I knew straight away this was my new challenge. From the moment I met Shae and I took my first ‘spin’ I knew I had made the right decision and was on the right path. I immediately felt part of a tribe that embraced inclusiveness and positivity. It brought back joy and laughter in my life (laughing at myself). I persisted and my slip slidey crucifex progressed to thigh hold pull ups and inversions. There’s been some days I arrive at class with a sense of “I’m not sure I can do this” however at the conclusion of the class & with encouragement from the most amazing teachers, I walk out with confidence and a sense of pride and achievement and I can’t wait to get on the phone and tell my husband all about it. If you are considering yet hesitating coming to Pole Athletica and you haven’t stepped through the front door, be bold and go for it. You won’t regret it.
Anjeela: Booked a private lesson for me and my friend as her birthday gift and it was the best time ever! It was our first time ever pole dancing and Shea was so knowledgable, he made the whole experience so much fun! Great studio, very clean and spacious. Thank you team!
Margaret Gotsopoulos: I started at pole athletica almost 2 years ago now and all I can say is that it’s the best decision I made! Pole has helped me so much with my strength, creativity, and self-confidence. The structured program at PA makes it easy to learn and see improvement. It’s a journey but the staff and students at PA are so friendly and supportive. It’s a great community that helps you become your best self!
Luisa Schreck: Really like this studio and would defs recommend. The trainers are amazing and not only very knowledgeable but also spread a great vibe especially if you are not that confident with pole (yet). What particularly attracted me to this studio is the structure of how the pole activities are taught. there is a level 1- 10 structure where foundations are established and further developed and built upon with each level. This makes it a lot easier to learn things and also a lot safer compared to how other studios approach teaching (only 3 levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced).
Hermione Le: Such a nice community and place to make more friends, as well as stay healthy, flexible and confidence!!
Stefanie Duhy: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality

Just Pole Fitness: what do users think?
Vickie Deng: Cheyenne and all instructors at JPF have created an inclusive and supportive environment for all students to learn and express themselves through dance. As someone that hasn’t taken a dance lesson for nearly 10 years, attending classes and learning how to move my body with confidence was so intimidating but the instructors here are always so approachable and patient which made the learning process really fun. At first I only thought I would be joining for 1 term but now 3 terms later, I can say that I have seen such an improvement in my confidence and my body that I can’t see myself stopping anytime soon. Thanks JPF team for all your hard work and your love for dance!
Isabella Lim: I have been a member of the JPF community since 2016! The most welcoming studio that helped me gain confidence in myself and dance.JPF offer a variety of classes from instructors with unique dance styles. You won’t be disappointed!

The teachers here are amazing and so supportive. The students here are also supportive and kind. You will not regret joining this studio!
Jessica Hong: I've been here for one term and I can say that Just Pole Fitness is a very welcoming and friendly space for beginners to feel comfortable and have a fun time learning pole tricks and dance!
Anna Nguyen: JPF will always be my favourite studio! I’ve been to a few different pole studios and nothing compares to JPF. ✨The teachers are amazing! There’s a big focus on proper conditioning during warm ups, which is a killer but so important. There’s also a variety of different choreo styles to try too. The best thing about JPF is the culture - you feel supported during class and everyone cheers you on when you get that trick. Not to mention the studio is BEAUTIFUL! ❤️
Akua Wirekoh: Just Pole is such an amazing studio! The instructors and the community are lovely and beyond supportive. It doesn’t matter what level or stage you’re at, just know that you will feel encouraged and pushed out of your comfort zone which fuels your confidence - very much empowering!!!!I started the end of 2019 with breaks in between but I always feel welcomed back home. Achieve Pole & Fitness Studio: what do users think?
Edel Gilligan: I’m so glad I’ve joined this group. The level of professionalism and even just the family feel you get when you walk through the doors. Definitely book that trial if you’re reading this and are unsure. You won’t regret it x
Mariko Oki: I love achieve pole practice because All teachers are so motivated and help us achieve our goals every class. No discrimination here, all gender, all age and all body shapes, All are looking great, feel strong and sexy.I’m late 40s and I have been doing pole just over a year. I feel more confident and I feel great about myself!
Anna Tong: Andrea and Lisa are both absolutely amazing teachers. The 8wk pole beginner course was so fun and I had a fantastic time with this lovely community! Highly recommend this boutique studio xx
Lisa Buttigieg: I have done pole classes and aerial yoga here, and have loved every session at Achieve Pole & Fitness Studio. The aerial yoga classes are a beautiful experience, and a wonderful way to decompress and improve strength and flexibility. The pole classes are catered to every level, and the atmosphere is fun, welcoming and encouraging. I love the combinations that we learn and have noticed that my strength has improved immensely in a short amount of time. The instructors are all caring and passionate, and they clearly love what they do. Andrea has created beautiful, safe spaces to train - she is an inspiration and she brings out the best in everyone. I am so happy to have found this studio, and would highly recommend the classes at Achieve to anyone.
Vandana Reddy: I love training at Achieve and the variety of classes on offer. Plus the awesome instructors that guide and support your growth. I enjoy the diverse group of people, the pole technique I have learnt and the fact that I am stronger and fitter then ever before. Join Achieve, you will not regret it.
Danielle Pinchas: When I joined Achieve I didn’t realise I would meet such amazing people. It took me a while to finally get the courage to try out pole, but when I walked in there were women and men in all ages and sizes. All the instructors are so good, patient and motivating.I’ve never done gymnastics and have no experience this type of fitness but it is amazing what your body is able to do within a few month.Highly recommend for anyone wanting to try out pole!
Stefania Ilacqua-Toufan: This is gonna be long so get comfy….Having done pole dancing before I thought I had an idea of what to expect. Coming to Achieve after previously attending quite a well known studio for a few years, I thought I had the basics down pat and was ready to get right back where I left off.I was very wrong.Achieve Pole and Fitness is not your run on the mill pole studio where you are just another number, where they just churn and burn through their students. (Been there, done that and now have the injury to show it)Having been attending regular classes since June if this year I can confidently say that attending Achieve has been the best choice I have made in regard to my overall health. My goal was to feel more healthy and comfortable in my own skin. Achieve have not only helped me on the physical level to reaching my goal but also mentally. The classes are small and intimate meaning you can get the assistance you need or ask questions without 50 million people in the room.Oh and everything I thought I knew about pole, yeh turns out I had been taught incorrectly so much so that, had I not been retrained by Andrea at Achieve could have lead to serious long term injury.Andrea and the instructors at Achieve actually care about your well-being and understand the importance of proper pole etiquette, technique and training to avoid injury as well as helping you achieve your personal goals. It’s not about racing to the next level to gain bragging rights, or rushing off to compete in pole comps (unless that’s your goal of course) it’s about ensuring that you being taught new skills in a safe and friendly environment, so much so that you want to keep coming back just because it’s fun.Learning something new can be intimidating at the best of times let alone standing in a crop top and short shorts in a room full of people you just met. What I love about Achieve is that everybody from all walks of life are welcome. No one is looked down upon, no one is rude and that cattiness and gossipy bitxhiness that runs rife at other dance and pole studios is non existent here.If you want a place that will not only teach you the right way, but also a place where you will always be welcomed and greeted by your name, Achieve is where it’s at! With classes that cater to all fitness levels, all ages and all walks of life. even if your not into pole there are so many other options.Run don’t walk
Patty: It was a little nerve-racking to start pole as I had never done it before, but the Achieve team manages to make you feel completely safe and comfortable. I came out to become more confident with my own body thanks to this. What I like about them is that they are not term/semester-based, so you can purchase a recurring or per-class membership and go to any day you're available. I absolutely love the Achieve team, it absolutely feels like your own little family ❤️
Pippa Bray: Incredible studio with great instructors and a lovely atmosphere. Flexible membership options are great. Love this studio!
Nikita Sakura: If you re looking for pole friends, laughs, intense workouts and friendly attitude then Achieve is the place to be.
Lauren N: I started pole here as an absolute beginner a year ago and quickly fell in love with it. Everyone was so welcoming and supportive, and the focus on technique to ensure safety and strength is something I appreciate immensely. The range of classes on offer, from the skills focused pole classes to the choreography to aerial yoga to fitness classes and more, is fantastic and leaves me spoilt for choice. I would definitely recommend Achieve.
Bonnie Maddock: One of the best studios in Sydney. Welcoming community, where everyone feels a sense of 'belonging'. Andrea is a fantastic teacher with extensive experience and is good at making new students feel comfortable. I like that she focuses on technique and injury prevention but also reassures students that there is no "right way" and to just do what feels good. Would highly recommend no matter what age or level of experience.
Aine Killeen: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityAn amazing, supportive pole space with incredible teachers - thank you Andrea for helping me 'achieve' my pole goals, you are truly a fantastic teacher!
Shalome Nolan: We had a big group of girls on a Hens weekend. It was so much fun! Andrea made us all feel so comfortable, was encouraging and so lovely to deal with- from emails to the actual day. We were all at different fitness levels and none of us had any experience doing pole, but she made it a breeze to understand and give it a go!Highly recommend checking them out!Thank you Andrea!! ❤️❤️
Alana Avallone: The new wellness studio is fantastic! They have great classes up for offer and great instructors who have made my experience a positive one. I would definitely recommend the studio to others who want to exercise in a fun and friendly environment.
Effie LING: Beautiful studio and amazing motivating instructors! Started my pole journey here and recently fall in love with Pilates, barre, and stretch classes. Love my experience here and highly recommend it.
Phailin Bachir: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityOne of my favourite studio’s! Only studio I would ever go to as they offer such a large variety of classes. The team are absolutely amazing and are always able to make working out such a fun and memorable experience. I love how amazing I feel after any of their sessions.
Kate Martin: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueI don't think I would off stuck with pole dancing if it wasn't for this amazing studio, it has an incredible vibe and the teachers are all so motivating, kind and push you to do your best and feel your best.
Meow Meow: Amazing and experience instructors ! Thye all are very experience and have different skills you can learn from. The best place to learn pole dance, different styles of choreography and other fitness classes. Most importantly it is a place full of lovely supportive people !
sarah stormont: Positive:Quality,ValueLove this studio so much! The classes are really affordable and flexible, and the teachers are very focused on safety and technique so I always feel safe and comfortable in my classes. Most importantly the vibe is great! everyone there is so friendly and welcoming and there are pole people of all shapes genders and sizes.
Elizabeth Major: I have tried plenty of pole, yoga, pilates, barre and aerial studios but this one is BY FAR the best. For starters, I don't know where else you would find all of those classes in one studio, but it also has the best vibe and the best coaches. You walk in and it's like you have always been there; everyone treats you like their oldest friend - we are all each other's personal cheer squad, the classes are catered to any level so you can literally start from scratch and in no time you will be amazed and what you can do. It is the best way to fall in love with your body. The studio is utterly beautiful, 15 minutes from everywhere in the known universe and plenty of parking!

BodySpace Studios: what do users think?
Sun Ye: Nice studio and friendly environment. Amazing
georgiana poulimenos: Just here for another update on what’s been going on since my last update (incase anyone is interested) - So I’ve started reformer Pilates and wow is it intense… as someone who has never done reformer before, I was keen to give it a go. Can I just start with saying how strong it’s made me feel already… I didn’t think that I’d see results in the first week but boy was I wrong. It’s taken my training to a whole new level and I’m so glad that I’ve incorporated these classes into my week. Sylvia is very knowledgeable, supportive and always differentiates for all abilities. At this point I’ve done around 19 reformer classes and I’ve noticed lots of changes in how I look and feel… if that doesn’t make you eager to jump into a class, idk what will. Anyway, that’s all from me (for now) 🤗💪🏼✌🏽**Scroll down for pole updates 😁Beginner review- Where do I even begin?? I’m not one for writing reviews, however Body Space Studios has changed my entire outlook on life so I thought I’d let anyone else who is questioning starting their pole journey know my story. When a friend suggested a trial pole class, I was resistant at first. I couldn’t imagine myself comfortable in a pole class. I was shy and wasn’t sure I was strong enough. Let me tell you, I’m so glad I pushed past my fear. My first class with Kim was so fun and empowering. I signed up for the term and met co-founder Sylvia (her classes are wild!). Both of these ladies have had such a positive impact on my pole journey. The studio is a very safe space. It’s my therapy after a long day at work where I can switch off and just have fun (and work my butt off). I’ve been visiting pole and stretch classes all term now and I absolutely love it. I’ll be returning next term as an intermediate and I’m sure many terms thereafter. If you’re thinking about it, just book your trial, you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend !!!Intermediate review- WOW!!! Bodyspace studios has become my second home. I started off in the beginner 8 week course taking part in 2 classes a week and now I’m about to get stuck into week 2 of my third intermediate course averaging on 8 classes a week. From all things flexibility/contortion, barre and pole, I’m loving every minute of it. Reading over my prior review brings back fond memories of how much growth I’ve made in such a short time. It hasn’t even been a full year yet and so much growth has occurred. I cannot wait to update you all again. Such a warm and welcoming environment where I’ve made many lifelong friends also. If you’ve ever struggled to have a sense of belonging or just want to fall in love with yourself again.. this is the place to be. Everyone is so warm, welcoming and super encouraging. There will always be someone cheering you on… trust me! I’ve enjoyed watching my progress in achieving goals I never imagined both in my pole journey and my own personal journey. This is the place you want to be… come on in and see what all the hype is all about for yourself. Peace ✌🏽
Beth Clerke: Hands down the best pole studio in Sydney! I travel all the way from Cronulla to train here, all the teachers are phenomenal, the choreo is beautiful and it’s such a supportive environment. I recommend this studio to everyone, it’s my happy place.
Charlotte Stone: Want to join a warm, welcoming community of beautiful people whilst simultaneously getting strong, bendy and flexy? Look no further.I restarted my pole journey at BodySpace after sustaining an injury twelve months prior, and I can safely say I've found a home here. All the instructors are knowledgeable, relaxed yet passionate, and comfortable training different body types, which was super important to me as a curvy girl with no prior fitness experience. This is your sign to take an introductory class - join as a beginner and get ready to become part of the most welcoming family. Thank you Sylvi, Kim, Missi and Cindy for creating a special space for so many.
Bridget Marcovich: Cannot rate BodySpace highly enough! Sylvia and Kim have done an amazing job creating a professional yet fun and welcoming studio. I’ve taken pole, dance and flexibility classes and loved all of them, and despite being a nervous beginner for many of them, always left feeling great and excited for the next class. The teachers are incredibly knowledgeable and supportive (shoutout to Missii!), and the energy is always amazing. The prices are so reasonable and the flexibility of their booking system is extremely convenient. Love this studio and recommend it to anyone on their pole journey!
Louise Carter: I went to an introductory pole class at Bodyspace about 2 months ago now, and I haven't looked back! The teachers are experienced, friendly and encouraging, and the studio itself has a welcoming atmosphere. I was worried I was too old for pole (I turn 40 next birthday) but it's actually a low impact form of exercise. I haven't felt this good in my body for years. Thank you Sylvia and Kim!
Bangyun Wang: It has a beautiful space with multiple pole rooms and a barre room and a practice room. The owners Kim and Sylvia are super nice and friendly, and they’re both great dancers who are brilliant in teaching.I really enjoyed how flexible the booking system is where you could subscribe and book for classes based on week, fortnight, or month. The app is super easy to use.Such a nice studio where you could learn many different style of pole, floor work, and acro moves!
Marina Prado: Amazing studio with friendly and professional instructors.
Tithi Mukherjee: Positive:Communication,ProfessionalismSylvia and Kim are amazing! Such a friendly and happy environment, I love coming here! I signed up for the pole beginner and Barre classes and i think I'll be continuing my journey. Excellent studio, great vibe! All in all I LOVE this place and the people! Highly recommend!
Michael Vrouxiou: Positive:ProfessionalismWe purchased a voucher for my wife and she loved the experience. The team at BodySpace Studios are so helpful. Thanks guys!
Sandra Naomi Bassal: Absolutely loved the Barre class with BodySpace Studios. Sylvia’s passion and experience shines through as she encourages & guides everyone through all movements at various levels. I finished the class feeling so amazing, stretched but challenged.Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for the next best studio!
Monica Tanyous: Amazing everything!!! The instructors are so lovely, patient, warm and very talented. The space is classy, spacious, light filled, and modern with an industrial chic vibe. You definitely don't feel cramped or on top of each other. And with several different rooms and spaces, just take a pick. There are also a great range of classes, to suit any level of fitness and goal. The beginners pole class is fun and proceeds at a great speed. So if I can do it, so can you.
Maryham Farag Power: Wonderful Team ! LOVED my Barre class with Sylvia ❤️Energetic, supportive & take the time to know what works for you & your personal fitness goals !
Sara Kim: I’ve been meaning to leave a review, but haven’t had the time or the energy to rave with the right level of hype. I’ve found time now, so here we go.I’ve been coming here for eight weeks for pole and barre, and I can only hope the glowing review I’m about to leave can convey half the love and adoration I hold for this place. My journey started with a trial beginner class with the lovely Tessa, and I’ve slowly ramped up my attendance from twice a week to four times a week. Starting next week, I’m actually upgrading my membership to the highest tier to go to classes five times a week, so if that’s not proof of how excellent a time I’ve had here, I don’t know what is.Facilities: top notch and remarkably clean. The studio itself is new, and they’ve done a terrific job of maintaining their facilities — I’m actually happy to shower here, which is more than what I can say for some of the gyms I’ve been to. Most importantly, the aesthetic of the studio itself is on POINT if you want a nice insta story. It vibes with the best of the inner west so hard, which is fair considering it IS Marrickville. But seriously, from the incense at the front door to the rugs in the resting area to the super tall ceilings, this studio is the epitome of trendy without being too much.Parking: no dedicated parking space, but not an issue as street parking is plentiful. I’ve been able to easily get a spot no matter what time of the day I come. Sometimes road work makes me take a small detour, which is annoying, but that’s Marrickville for you.Classes: such a wide range! I’ve tried beginner pole, intermediate pole, barre and stretch, and half the reason I upped my membership to the highest tier is because I loved all of them so much that I wanted to do it every week. Class size is small enough to have the instructor pay you some individual attention without making you feel awkward, and the pacing is just right. All pole classes start with a warm up, and despite being clumsy and injury prone, I’ve never felt so safe at an exercise class before.Instructors: I could write a novel on how amazing they are, but this review is already too long. But really, I could fill a book singing their praise. They are all absolutely fantastic and warm and supportive and in addition to being excellent teachers, are genuinely lovely humans — frankly, half the reason I look forward to classes is to bask in their presence. They’re THAT nice. Tessa is so soothing, like a cooling balm for my battered soul, and Sylvia is basically sunshine in human form.Admin: their Instagram and emails are both very responsive, and their app may the best designed class-related app I’ve used in the last five years. (And I’ve used a LOT of them) Seriously, they should win an award for the sheer usability of their app or something. In conclusion, BSS is my favourite place in Sydney right now and I high key need it to stay around for the next two decades, because it’s cheaper and way more fun than therapy. As a poor student with limited income, I need to make careful choices when it comes to money, and a BSS membership is probably (almost definitely) the best thing I’ve bought for myself in the last five years.
Sarah Van Der Meer: Kim is the warmest and friendliest instructor I’ve ever had! The studio has a gorgeous rustic/ natural vibe to it and everyone there is so inviting! 5/5 definitely recommend
DN: Love this studio! Amazing vibe, awesome trainers and excellent range of classes.
Kat Louise: Absolutely amazing space, with the most incredible teachers!
Jo Lim: I tried the very first beginners lesson on the first day this beautiful brand new studio was opened. Kimberley, my teacher is so lovely, kind and helpful. I loved the styles been taught. absolutely beautiful and I joined and I will highly recommend for everyone to try.
Georgia Spencer: Such a stunning brand new studio! There are so many classes to choose from and for all levels as well. Everyone is so lovely and welcoming - my new favourite place!
Sarah Geisler: I went for practice time. The space is absolutely beautiful. Bluetooth speakers to connect to your phone, high poles and friendly teachers!

Pole Dance Academy Alexandria: what do users think?
Kisi Williams: PDA Alexandria is such a great studio! Maddie and Shimmy should be very proud of the set up and staff. The instructors are amazing and take the time to assist you and break down any tricky moves. Lenka has been a godsend when it comes to building my strength and my confidence.the a choreo class with Betty is perfect if you want to learn various styles of pole dancing and different music every week! The atmosphere is great, and I never feel unwelcome by other dancers- which is very comforting. If you ever do a practice time and someone else is there, it’s never short of tips and chats about where you can improve. The receptionists are always chatty, welcoming and knowledgeable when asking questions about classes, and helpful with booking. Freya, Lara and Jess have all been great answering any questions I have.I would recommend coming here for levelled classes, choreo or even stretch. It’s beginner friendly for everything !10/10 would recommend.
Rebekah Duncan: I did spins and tricks pre Advanced/ Advanced class on Saturday With Shimmy. She helped me get into my Cacoon pose for the first time! ☺️🙌🏾
C. B.: Becky is the best 🌺 thank you 🌸
Katherine Wong: A beautiful studio with two spacious rooms for classes and a room dedicated for practice. There is also a cosy waiting area for students to mingle, stretch or rest while waiting for your classes to start. The bosses, Michelle Shimmy and Maddie Sparkle, as well as all instructors are friendly and helpful. Classes are always so much fun.
Karen Lewis: Beautiful space and top studio. Teachers are amazing. Highly recommended
