Mecca Coffee: what do users think?
Edie Tan: Love the coffee!
Roberto Gentile: Best coffee ☕️I love ❤️ this cafe.Very original and naturalNo BS
Gilbert Bages: All good!
pegs on: Espresso here is delivered with passion and with the customers *almost* at heart of mind. I tried their Iced Long Black had to wait 10 minutes and the instore space is restrictive. Would've liked a larger serving size but ultimately the taste was perfectly balanced and the texture was velvety smooth - great stuff!
Beswald Fitness: Rude and unfriendly. Better have coffee somewhere else

Ahmad Shadeed: Great coffee and food. I ordered a flat white and an Avomato bagel. The filling of the bagel was great and it's very tasty.
Michael Power: Under the eaves of the grace hotel, this little hole in the wall coffee shop does a great coffee (and I say that as a Melburnian) and follows up with a pretty decent bagel too. Dash in for takeaway, or sit outside and "eat in".Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/4 …More
Alex Kemeny: This place has always had very good, strong coffee. I used to go here every day before the pandemic. Unusually I'm back in the CBD today. They survived the pandemic...somehow! marina sokol: Definitely the best food in town! Substantial portions, great variety and beautiful presentation! Dymovsky Cafe is a hidden gem conveniently located above Dymocks Book Store!
Rana S B: Place is good for Study/work with quite area to do some good reading. However hosts are a bit rude which made it very unpleasant to stay.I asked politely if they serve a Cortado coffee. She Replied with a really annoying tone: WHAT IS THAT? Go and sit in the table! My dear, lack of knowledge doesn’t mean you have to be rude.Sorry but never again for me.
Olga Lenkova: Heartily recommend for Borsch!!! Rally yummy vegetarian version. Served with sour cream and bread. Perfect lunch.
Connie Hu: Almost all the waitresses’ faces are poker face. They look as if they are angry all the time. I just had a look at their reviews soooo many people are complaining about their customer service!
S!R: Lovely cafe! Nice ambiance and good service. Brings back pleasant memories!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Jamie Lee: Took 8 centuries to get us seated, still waiting in a line where we’ve been at the front for over 20 minutes. I’ve watched waiters look at us and ignore us with multiple seats open and not reserved. The only reason we are at the front of the line is because everyone before us left in anger. I think I will leave now thanks 🙏 😊 ❤️😘.
Dayle Gibson: 1kg - stale, pleaseI wake up this morning; it's 13?C. I know today will be a bad day.'Maybe I'll go out for a coffee. Dymocks was okay last time', I think to myself. As I approach Dymocks the air is still, it has an eerie quality to it. Perhaps a sign of what's to come. Business as usual.I order my coffee, the waitress is nice and the cafe looks busy. 'Maybe the coffee is okay'. Like calling Pulp Fiction a classic I was wrong.I waited for my coffee, I paid in full. I was always polite.I can't help but wonder: 'Do Cafes buy stale beans to save money?'
South Young: 💃🏼 DEVONSHIRE STYLE “Scone + Cream + Jam + Tea + Milk”, an absolute delight 🕺
Judy K: The chicken mushroom stroganoff did not have to pop off that hard… saucy served with creamy mashed potatoes SO GOOD… apple crepes were interested cuz they were fried which made the outside crispy, they were good but nothing special. Chai latte was really good albeit a bit too sweet, coffee was great. Ambience was cute, it was so busy too!
Kreng Arzy: Customer service is not good and quite slow. There is only one water area and staff will tell you to go all the way to the other side to go get some water yourself. Also order takers just chat and ignore you they are not very attentive on their customers
Beryl Sun: The food was good, but one of the waitresses was a little rude. When checking out she will keep asking for your table number but won't tell you where to look for the number.
Stanislava Porubcanova: Quaint location and delicious dishes from Europe. Highly recommend. Staff were lovely and helpful. Big thanks!
Molo Brown: We went to our friend's favourite place for lunch for her birthday, the Dymocks Cafe...Service is Great and the Food Superb. We didn't have to wait too long for a table.... I never understand why so many people here write awful reviews...we have been a few times and always had the best time. Yes the Cafe Area is narrow but you have a great view of all the books below. .This place has a high turnover of customers and wait staff have a hard job to do in the narrow walk way. They change their menu according to the seasons and always have options for Vegetarians....Vegetarian options: Great Borsch Soup, Love It.. Tasty and filling...
Won-Kyoung Choi: Dymocks

Mecca Coffee: what do users think?
Charles Tang: Good service, cute interior. Some foods had a Korean twist, including the chili scram below, which was excellent. A little expensive, but no different from any other Sydney cafe these days. Chips were great, staff very friendly.
Adam: Mediocre coffee. All this fuss about bean varieties and a hipster outfitted cafe doesn’t equate to fantastic coffee. At $5.70 for a ‘large’ (more like a regular) coffee , you expect excellent quality.I don’t mind paying the money, but I want good quality coffee, not just some mediocre tasteless warm milk with a slight hint of coffee.
C W: Spacious cafes with very decent coffee. Got some coffee beans as well which are reasonable priced.
Kevin Sturgis: Friendly staffs ☺️ love the aesthetic designs and cozy atmosphere. Great coffee selections which they roast at the back of the cafe, can’t get any fresher that that ay!? Make sure you grab something of the retail shelves for home 🏠
S Truman: Came in at 220pm. They close at 3. Couldn’t serve in real cups since they were “closing soon”. So bad for the environment. So bad impression for new customers. Coffee is good though.
Cristina Vergara: The location is a little strange which is why I think this place is underrated. The coffee is amazing and the pastries are incredible. Last time I decided to get food as well and was surprised by the quality. Really good food with quality ingredients, and I love how they keep the focus on the quality if their coffee.Recommended dishes Oat Milk Latte …More
Caleb Heng (Raccoon): Went in on a Sunday 02/04/23 at 2:30pm, understandably we were only allowed take away as the kitchen was closing.Dissapointed coffee experience. My feedback is that the coffees we ordered lacked flavour (Moka Premium Blend, 2 flat whites) and I highly suspect were under extracted as I remember turning around to look at merch only to have both coffees were already made, it didn't seem like the barista had taken the time for a minimum 30 second extraction. The coffee profile was supposed to have Dark chocolate, raisin and maraschino cherries notes, however it just tasted like warmed milk. Thanks for taking the time to look at feedback @Mecca Management
Behzad Shahri: It’s important things for this shop is good service and very high quality breakfast with best price
Robyn Short: Oh, the hash browns. I don't know who was in the kitchen this morning, but they were a masterpiece! You will only think me prone to exaggeration until you try them. Or don't...more for me 😀Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Summer W: Terrible coffee. Rude staffs. Stay away from this place.
David N: Food: really basic, as you can see in my photos, especially for the price!Kinda stuff you can do at home. Nothing really stand out, standard flavours, no real though has done into the menu or plating.Coffee was decent though.Venue: pretty decent, nice and big. In an odd location, kinda industrial. Parking is hard to find.Wouldn’t go out of my way for this place.
Ian Bryce: TLDR; Satisfy Your Coffee Cravings with Mecca Coffee's Exceptional Brews and Delicious FoodIf you're a coffee lover on the hunt for a place with exceptional brews and delicious food, Mecca Coffee is the place to be. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by our friendly waitress Demi who quickly seated us. I ordered the BAE burger, and it was a treat for my taste buds - even though I'm not a fan of kale, I opted to have it on the side which they kindly catered for me. The coffee here is top-notch and definitely worth trying. In addition to their amazing brews, Mecca Coffee offers a variety of tasty food options, including a scrumptious chicken burger and an avocado toast that hit the spot. We didn’t try the croissants but they looked amazing. The café has ample seating both indoors and outdoors, but parking can be a bit of a hassle. Nevertheless, Mecca Coffee is definitely a must-visit spot for coffee aficionados looking for quality coffee and tasty food. 9/10!
Adel Weiss: Awesome place, very kind stuff, great coffee and breakfast! Thanks
Harry Zhu: Tasty Pork Neck Panini!
Captain kranq: Only had a pastry and coffee outside.Very friendly staff and interested in keeping me happy..By that I mean friendly.Very happy with service and vibe. Attractive venue. Split level seating and open plan all the way to the kitchen.Outdoor seating is doggo friendly.Coffee is good. Modern flavour (fruity flavour )A 1 minute walk from Green Square railway station south ..Great for snacks, family and dates with your secretary.Recommended.
Michelle Shen: Decided to swing by for a light breakfast. Not the most convenient location - very difficult to find parking, we had to park 15 mins away & walk.Loved the relaxed & spacious ambience. Not a lot of food options on the menu but the coffee was great & very smooth & the carrot cake was fresh & fluffy!
Matthew Yong-O'Gorman: Beautiful decor, fast and friendly service, very good food. Not sure when brunch for two started costing $75+ but here we are ...Becoming a cafe influencer must get expensive.
Patricia Macabulos: Just wow. The espresso here is so bright and juicy, it really does smell like fresh oranges. We had the hazelnut affogato and couldn’t believe each spoonful. We also liked how they used a brown sugar syrup to sweeten the coffees if you asked for any sugar. It gave the lattes a molasses flavour which complimented the acidity of the espresso well.Took our family here from overseas and they said it was the best coffee they’d tried in Sydney.
The LeBrun Phamily: Overall: One of the best cafes in Alexandria.Coffee: Outstanding.Food: Delicious. Highly recommend the cauliflower schwarma and Nduja bruschetta.Ambience: Converted warehouse, open space with big windows and tall ceilings. What more could you ask for?
Amanda Haack: We loved the coffee and the menu is very enticing 🙂

Sebastian Tan: Spacious, good coffee and great food. An ideal place for a Me-time alone lunch. Ordered the Pork Katsu Sando - the pork cutlet cooked to perfection, succulent yet not oily, with freshly prepared coleslaw and non-soggy sandwich white breads. Simply heavenly.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
jack okeby: amazing coffee and great food, excellent service, kind and welcoming staff. my first suggestion when we’re grabbing lunch for clients or friends are in town. recommend a side of the chat potatoes, the salads, and their in-house batch brew coffee.
Hina Salimuddin: I liked the ambiance of the venue however that was it. The food looks nothing like what they show on Instagram. Was quite disappointing. Some things were nice like the hot chocolate. The number one thing wrong with the place is the service! I can’t believe how rude some of the staff are! The waitress with the orange hair had so much attitude - would practically throw the menu at us and slam the food on our counter. She even haphazardly chucked cutlery at us and would not accomodate us in any way. She showed us so much attitude that my friend and I wondered whether we did something wrong and why she hates us. We tried getting the bill from some other waitress because we were actually afraid of that girl. My friend and I were so uncomfortable with the experience. The service alone was horrible enough for us never to go again. My friend has been there before and she said the staff were rude then as well.Overall, The food isn’t worth the rude service.
Mel L: Yes please!!! Yea please! Simply amazing food! It’s the city so price is high. Waited for a reasonable amount of time for a very busy Sunday brunch. After ordering food came fast and together so we could all dig in. Service was attentive.
Jung Eun Kim: The food was okay but service was disappointing.. Put my name on the waiting list but the lady never called my name. When I checked the list about an hour later, figured out my turn was way passed. I asked the lady who took my name, she kept saying that she had already called my name few times. Figured out that she called 'Sofie'... not my name. Never had any apologizes from her. I hope she doesn call other's name wrong again.

MINJU LEE: Visited to have the best weekend ever. However, I was very angry at the attitude of the female staff with orange hair. First she threw us the menus on the table, and even though we hadn't finished her words she left us. I went back and asked to add a menu. Again, I threw a cup while giving water and the cup fell on the table. She told us she was sorry we were holding a puppy in one hand. I am really upset with her attitude. It was the worst weekend ever. I don't speak English well, and I couldn't complain about her attitude. The orange haired girl thinks we're racist.
Holly Pearson: This is a place for great coffee, however maybe worth a visit not during peak times as it can get exceedingly busy. I enjoyed the smoothie bowl but for the price I paid I would of expected more in both size and flavour.
G H: I ordered crumbed eggs on toast with avo added. Generally not bad but a bit salty. Love the atmosphere here in the morning, especially outside seats.
ethel foo: had breakfast, the breakfast bun was really amazing!! but the eggs and sourdough were just regular especially for its price. not sure if it’s because this place is so highly reviewed so i expected a little more.
Val -: Good coffee and food, cool place in Surry Hills, but the table we were sitting at (big stone table next to the entrance) was so wide that it was hard to have a conversation because we were so far away from each other 😅 it was pretty crowded and hectic but looks like a really nice place when it's calmerFood: 5/4|Service: 5/3|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

The queues in the morning and afternoon confirm to me that my take on quality is the correct one. The only issue for this cafe located in the entry into World Square from Pitt St and as such there are sitting places or tables to relax and enjoy a good cup of coffee. But if you are after one of the best coffees around World Square this is the place.

Craig Davide Lorino: The coffee took 15 minutes on a quiet Sunday morning and the milk was scalding hot. Overheating the milk ruins it because it becomes sticky and dry, not to mention the burned milk taste. This is really basic stuff that you're not doing right and you're charging almost $6 for a coffee. Slow and badly made. Won't be going back.

Jonjo Borrill: People throw the word ‘best’ around a lot. But seriously. That’s the best flat white in Sydney. If not Australia (bold I know).Imagine messing up a job trial, feeling flat but needing inspiration. You follow your Google map straight to smooth jazz hop beats and coffee aroma.Old school decor, old school vibe. No menu you just say what coffee you’re in the mood for.10 minutes later and your funk is kicked, caffeine and mood boosted.Welcome to Skittle Lane.PS this isn’t paid or sponsored, they don’t even know who I am. But I’ll remember them.Done.

Laura Leddie: The nicest and friendliest staff - they make excellent coffee! Excellent service all round. My go to coffee place when in the CBD.
Viktor: Nice cosy cafe super friendly lovely staff. I always have something from the menu egg bacon roll vege breakfast steak sandwich tomato & avocado on sourdough and a treat like almond croissant Portuguese tart to go with my delicious coffee. Always happy coming to this place.
Rong Li: The best coffee shop at CBD , the coffee tasted very flavor and staff is very friendly, you can get a various of coffees from over there :)
Ishrodaya Manandhar: I used to get coffee from here almost always. Maybe the staff changed cause I haven't been in the city for a while. The girl on the counter didn't know what a double ristretto was. The girl making the coffee didn't know it either. Got a double ristrerto oat latte with honey this morning. But the coffee was so bitter and could barely taste the honey. Had to throw away my coffee cause I could not drink it. The 3 star is because the girls were really friendly.
Aaron Stevenson: Waited 30 minutes for a black tea. No one else was there.
Donald Tseng: Flat white is excellent and tasty
Aurélie Thomas: Very good coffee here! I love my long blacks in the morning. The staff is also really nice. I highly recommend this place!

Kelvin Ong: A small & busy cafe near Town Hall at The Gallery with a few seating (3-5) for quick coffee and some simple brunch food and pastries. Coffee here is consistent good & they use Toby Estate's Workshop blend which I always enjoy having a quick coffee here. The coffee is well made with rich, smooth lingering caramel, chocolate and spices flavours.
Alex Sintawee: Good and very convenient cafe in the heart of Townhall. Very enjoy my time there.
Wendy: Workshop Espresso serve great coffee and a delicious dirty chai. One of the better cafes in the area, workshop espresso is well priced considering it’s CBD location. Service is fast making coffee on-the-go easy. I like that they offer three sizes, small, large and jumbo. They also have breakfast specials like toast, bacon and egg rolls, and pastries. Their menu is limited marking them a good cafe for takeaway breakfast or that 3pm coffee to get over the afternoon slump.
JENNY ALPAGO: The coffee is very good, the service always fast and very nice, lovely coffee shop just in front of Queen Victoria Building 👍🏻

Liam G: Tbh I don’t even know why i am giving a five star review. I mean I am usually very picky about coffee shops, and logically I would only give 4 stars since they don’t have a nice sitting area. But there is something about this place that feels really nice. There coffees are pretty nice to begin with, and sometimes it’s just nice to grab a latte and start walking in the city I guess.
D Kalmar: My favourite coffee shop in Sydney! I go past 7 other cafes near my work to come here. Great coffee, great service, what more could you ask for? :)
Lawrence Mak: Great staff, great coffee

Two Good Eggs Cafe: what do users think?
Y T: Comfortable atmosphere, kind staff, and decent meals to start a day.9時ごろ朝ごはんに行きましたがテーブルも座れたしゆっくり出来ました、お店の方もとても親切で居心地めっちゃ良いです!
Nicole Steele: Cosy little cafe with great service, yummy food, affordable prices and amazing hot chocolate!Drink sizes could be a bit bigger but otherwise great placeWheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible. Have to walk up stairs into the cafe
Merlin Coryell: Great little Cafe with ample menu options, but why eat anything other than the Brissy St Special?Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Brissy Street Special, Goats on Toast …More
Alicia Jade: The buttermilk pancakes are amazing, absolutely fluffy and just amazing. The home made whipped ice cream was beautiful and that homemade jam was to die for. The toasted muesli was beautiful, amazing presentation and even better that i was offered milk with it. The two good eggs big breakfast came in with everything you’d make yourself at home, not only was it delicious it was delicious. The service is 10/10, amazing coffees and specials. If you’re ever in Sydney for a night be sure to check this place out.

Thang Manh: Good vibes, nice food
Sonya: Staff were welcoming and friendly (This is why I give 2 stars not 1), coffee and food were average. But I found Two Baby Roches on the wall. They were very very active. I definitely won't come back.

howitreallyiz: The knowledge and skill of the staff is excellent. Whilst the focus is on the coffee the food menu is small but very well prepared and thought through. As for the coffee if you want to try something unique and different this is where you want to be. I tried the interstellar espresso and it was like experiencing something amazing for the 1st time. Sure there is a price premium however I feel it is worth the experience, and it is an experience!

Noah Fang: The best coffee experience I've had. Hundreds of coffee selection from the menu. You can't make coffee like theirs at home. A must try! The only down side is seating, not very comfortable. And also it is not ideal if you have kids together.
Roy Brichacek: Great coffee with a difference from all the other coffee shops around.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Alex Scott: I love Ona coffee. The variety that this company provides has always been fantastic. My experience at Ona Sydney has been interesting as it is great seeing people who love their craft. I enjoyed the experience of ordering a filter, appreciating the grounds then tasting the coffee that comes out. I'm not rating this emergence a 5 as I had wish list items that would raise this to a 5 instead of negatives to share. I would want to see glassware designed to help appreciate aroma more when ordering an expensive cup. The ceramics are lovely for a daily drink but when ordering $30+ I want to enjoy the experience as much as I can. Likewise, the volume served is to be desired, I would love if more generous servings were offered (within reason). Lastly I would look at consistency. Sometimes the coffee is fantastic, other times it is somewhat lacking in substance, the hardest part of a customer experience is delivering consistency but I think it is somewhat there. Lastly the customer service has always been exceptional. The staff are friendly and always happy to help, it makes it an inviting place to go to.I'd recommend Ona to any coffee lover and hope these review points help refine this into an even more amazing experience!
7s29: I thought I'd give this place a shot. So I ventured out today to buy a small cap. I tried to pay with cash, they don't take cash, perhaps I should have bartered a couple of chickens, I digress.I get a small cup, wow, it was so small. The coffee bean was nice, warm, not hot. They stopped short of the rim, this is a pet hate of mine, where the milk is poured in and they stop short of the rim. No chocolate on the coffee, I asked, they informed me they don't do that.Pros: The coffee was ok, I've had better elsewhereCons: Parking is at a premium, good luck.Milk poured stops short of the rim, and is only warm. The cup is ridiculously smallThey don't take cash, that's going to be fun when the net is down.No chocolateYou're forced to pay pass, and they charge you 6 cents for the privilege. Conclusion: Will I ever go back? You can put me down for a , NO , on that. Di yourself a favour and shop around. I've attached pics of the cup I received, and comparison pics with an actual small cup from another store.PS: I have pics, but for some reason, the option isn't here for me to post.
Sammi Jaeger: The team at Ona are all knowledgeable about the menu (food and beverage) they are serving. This is a specialty coffee shop and won’t be truly appreciated or understood by people who don’t take an interest in coffee or cafe culture. Ona have a great selection of take-home retail products as well. The centre bar set-up allows for easy communication with the team and it’s nice to see the action. Alex is particularly awesome.
Denise Gkotsi: The staff members where polite and made us feel welcome!Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Raspberry Candy …More
Mark “Mark Fakhouri” Fakhouri: Trying to be to cool for their own good. Coffee isn't bad but it's not worth the price and is served at drink it right now temp, which doesn't work in a takeaway....also, any business refusing to take cash at the moment is putting the business needs before the customers. Last time I checked it's still classified as fiat currency?Food: 5/2|Service: 5/2|Atmosphere: 5/2 …More

Toby R: $6.57 for the smallest regular coffee I’ve ever been served. If it was special, I’d be okay with that, alas it was not. I had the aspen and it left a bitter dusty aftertaste. This is a one and done. 🙅‍♂️
Abdulmohsen Alharbi: Amazing coffee and friendly staff. Truly, a must go shop
