[DUX Tuition] - Best Sydney Tutoring For Primary & High School | New Programs For Selective School Test, NAPLAN, OC Test, HSC | Eng. & Math, Writing & Sciences | System to Encourage to Learn | Google Review 4.9/5.0 | Free Assessment & Trial Lessons: what do users think?
Miranda Le: I have been a student since the start of 2021 and I can see that I have significantly improved in my maths, english, thinking skills and writing! The teachers are very patient and nice and the students are very kind and very easy to make friends with. Also my english teacher (Michael) is a very good teacher and helps me figure out difficult questions. Definitely recommend 👍
Joshua Lee: Fake reviews unethical business practice to force children to write reviewsu can see how 4-5 reviews are posted in the same time and it pauses for a few months (in the time I am writing this it is a 6 month pause with no reviews) until another small wave of 5 star reviews (new students come) really scammy way to get a high review score
Jhon White: Made us make 5 Star reviews in class to boost how many stars they have
Peter & Grace Condello: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueGreat communication. We are very pleased with our Tutor and have found Dux to be leaps and bounds ahead of other Tutoring services we have used. Professional, understanding care about what they do.Thank You Dux Tutoring

Tago Tamago: Good place ! All the tutors are really nice and helpful, especially Michelle (English and Math)!
Vanessa: I have been to this tutor since year one and they have provided me with an education that is suited and tailored to my needs. From subjects ranging from English, math and to science, the teachers are very patient and encouraging as well as knowing how to teach the content well. The good tutor system allowed me to do well in academic studies at school, resulting in a Western Sydney University scholarship and early entry as well during my year 11 studies.
Kim Sun: This place is great you can learn lots of different subjects and the teachers help you alot to improve
Jean Leung: Teachers are great, very helpful and patient! Accommodating to students ability and approachable teachers!
Joyce Sun: It helps my son alot

Kieran Sie: It was great looking back in the past i used to attend this school, but then I had to transfer in 2006 to Smithfield Public School, transfered schools again from Smithfield Public School to Ringrose Public School by 2009 and then moved to (Greystanes) High School in 2012 because i was starting Year 7. By 2009, i started year 4 and was not in any autism or disability classes; it was all HSC style routine and its been 10 yrs i haven't get to see this school since the events that my class (Ms Angus' class) was invited in 2007 to 2008, associated and involved in. I attened Greystanes High School in 2012 - 2017; even there were a special class provided, i was still in the mainstream classes due to classes i had in Ringrose Public School in 2009 to 2011. Now i am no longer in High School and am in a College or University or adult level of my life, i just can say i have NOT visited in 10 years. I was searching for this place for a chance to see or visit Miss Angus for a meeting after 10 years of not seeing each other as her former student and maybe other staff from 2005 (if they're available) but i dont remember much of names. That tesimony i had within social skills have been evolving for a dacade, which is great because i notice myself growing up and socially transforming independently whilst i had been in the HSC style pathway. I would like to return to meet the staff i have not met for 10 years. :DKieran Sie

Sydney School of English: what do users think?
Terry Yang: Very experienced teacher. My daughter did learn written skills and improved after 1.5 terms- one 5 days holiday intensive lessons and 6 weekends of class. Highly recommend .
Veronica Yuan: Friendly staff and well organised admin work. Teachers are experienced at teaching kids.
Cathy Liang: My daughter enjoys the class very much. The teacher is great and make it fun to learn. And she has picked up good skill of writing and lots of new vocabularies.
William Huang: The experience with john was great, my daughter loves the place, I saw some negative review about the kids been terminated with enrollment, I think they should be, there is no right for people including kids distracting others from learning, especially when it’s in tutoring environment, parents are paying extra for tutoring school the have extended education on kids, anyone misbehaved or abusing the teachers should be thrown out of class. But for saying, John and Jill, you should have cameras in the classrooms so you can show some parents the footage when it’s necessary, for your good as well
Smita Krishna: My son has completed 3 terms with Sydney school of English. I would like to take the opportunity to say Thanks to his teacher Elisabeth and the team. He has grown into a confident writer and he actively participates in the class and I am sure he is going in right direction to get into his goal of getting g into selective.
Md Moshiur Rahman: Good coaching Centre for English.
Jen: My son has improved his English in Y5 to a higher level by attending Gill's class in 2019. Very nice teacher.
Jing Khoon Tan: The Sydney School of English has helped our daughters to improve their English by teaching them techniques to 'think' on how to write for their English essays and assignments, and not by rote learning. Thanks to their methods and their innovative ways of teaching, our daughters received offers from selective schools and I have no doubt their learnings from SSE will carry through the rest of their lives as they navigate through high schools and beyond. We couldn't recommend the Sydney School of English highly enough.
Andy Leung: John and Jill are good educators who have passionate about English teaching. Highly recommended.
Maree Ma: I am especially impressed with the writing curriculum at the school. Ever since my son attended Jill and John's classes, he has gained excellent writing skills which is helping in everything he writes up to this day in high school. He obtained a full mark for the writing portion of his selective high school exam as well as acing the writing in his scholarship exams. Highly recommend this school!
Kenny Lau: Experienced teachers and her teaching team. John and Jill are very experienced and have their own experty in teaching English. My son always recalls what John has taught him and how useful the training is.
MA: Great Teachers. My Daughter loved attending a few years ago
Samantha LR: SYDNEY SCHOOL OF ENGLISH is fantastic. I highly recommend them. Jill & John are professional, caring and highly experienced and skilled. They also make learning fun and are encouraging.Don't bother going anywhere else. The front office staff were also very helpful with all my enquiries.
Julia Zou: My daughter studied in this school before with Margaret. Very good teacher and good school.
Malli Boppe: My son went to Sydney school of English at Burwood and he talks really high about them. I could see that my son has improved a lot and would recommend to any one wanting to join this institute.
Quinn Randall: SSE is an incredible school full of teachers who genuinely care about the success of all of their students both in and out of the classroom!Jill, John, & all the teachers at SSE are some of the kindest people I have ever had the pleasure of associating with. They are the kind of people that I want looking after kids in Sydney, because I know how well they model being good, caring, and thoughtful people and how much they care for all of their students. Just being around Jill & John brings light to the day of those around them. Anyone who says anything otherwise is lying and that is incredibly unfair to the SSE and all its wonderful teachers and students. Thank you all for the incredible work you do!!!!!
miki: Critical:Professionalism,QualityThey made me cry constantly and threw out my homework I worked hard on. There was also lots of favouritism towards the white students which was very disrespectful towards everyone else in the class.
Yan Chen: Sydney School of English is the best tutoring school I have ever enrolled my kids in. They have learnt a lot and I have seen them improve greatly. My three kids have followed them for 4-7 years and I have no complaints whatsoever. They don’t do entry exams because they believe that every child deserves a chance to learn and improve without being mislead by the thoughts of other people. I think that is super fair and so thoughtful of them. Every teacher is so amazing and very experienced. They teach students with patience and hard work. There isn’t much homework because they know everyone has other things to do throughout the week as well. I want to say thank you to every one of them as they were so helpful and treated all students the same.
R V: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality
pieman243: I quite like this place.
Salim Saiyyad: My experience with this class was terrible, teacher was not at all a teacher, very rude behaviour with my daughter to the extend that I had drop the class in the middle of the term without refund of fees.. total waste of time and money..

Sydney Community College: what do users think?
Suzanne Potma: Moved through the framing course at an easy, but steady pace provided by the 2 facilitators for 8 of us. Had a great day! Would do this again.
Pierce Rosman: Just finished the Woodworking course for beginner's. Peter was such a 'gentleman'. Very knowledgeable and patient. The work bench we made has pride of place in my garage! Great course!
Terri Fairbairn: I have just completed the Screenwiting course. It was fantastic and our teacher was both personable and highly professional. My only concern was that the course had been reduced in hours from its previous level and I think it would benefit from returning to that level. This, however, will not stop me form seeking out an advanced course in Screenwriting here, or from doing any of the other fascinating courses that are available there, several of which I hsave already done.
Marie: I think it's always hard to say, but CCE doesn't like NDIS participants who need support attending their classes. I have a companion card, but they do not accept it. I feel sad that people who need support such as myself are not able to attend, and are told instead to pay for two people when the fact of the matter is that the support is not the one benefiting from the experience, I am. It's a gross lack of understanding as to what supports are there to do. I hope your policy changes in the future to become disability friendly.
Laura: Absolutely not impressed with the organisation. I have paid a business English class and ended up in an advanced English class and the organisation didn't pay any attention to my request to change classes or at least get a discount for the next ones. I strongly not recommend.
watchM “spsa” Egrow: I wanted to walk out of covid learning something new and chose a language. After much research I found the Sydney Community College website easy to navigate (with so many opportunities) and signed up in a heartbeat. Enjoyed basic Greek and have signed up for next level. Efharisto!
Andrew Drabarek: I attended the WordPress course on 30 Nov and 7 Dec. The tutor, no doubt, very knowledgeable but the subject is so vast that two days can’t satisfy very different levels of interest (I was entirely fresh, but most of the people had exposure of some sort). So, I guess, there should be an introductory course, just to construct something good for going on-line and more specialised one, eg focusing on e-commerce.
Ruth Leckie: Microsoft Office:Word Level 1This course was brilliant. Denise was clear in her explanation and did more than was stated in the course description. I really feel confident using Word to its full extent.
Jack Leighton: Walking into an actual sausage restaurant, being able to step into the kitchen and work on a grinder and choosing spices was just awesome for me. This experience has made me see that cooking with processed meat is not as hard as it seems and working in a team makes it more fun and easy. Being able to eat a sausage fresh off the stove and knowing I had a hand in making some has taught me even further independence and idealism. The smell and taste of fresh self-made food is just a dream come true for me and I hope to experience it again.
Monica O'Connell: Drawing with Elinor Pickard .... wonderful teacher, learnt so much and I am so excited about drawing now!! Thank you Elinor.
Alison Bourke: The Introduction to Copywriting course I completed last week was incredibly informative, interesting and useful. It was fast-paced but allowed time for class responses and questions. The presenter was knowledgeable and generous in the way he shared information. I now have an increased appreciation of the importance of audience to a copywriter. Highly recommend this course.
Jess W.: Sydney Community College Online Course - Novel Writing with Shannon Curtis. Having always loved to write but also having approached it in a somewhat directionless fashion, this course was super useful in giving me a structure to work within in future. I look forward to knuckling down and trying to write something new, and I do feel the course has given me some really useful tools to produce something much better than it would have been. Shannon was really knowledgeable, and did a lovely job presenting the info and kindly answered lots of questions as we went. Can’t recommend the course enough for those who love to write but need a bit of structure to get them going.
Fran Baxter: I enjoyed the Indonesian language class. As I complete beginner I found it a bit challenging, but Hani the instructor could not have been more supportive. Just need more practice now and then some more learning.
Maggie: I recently completed the Storytelling course with John Knowles. It was excellent and John is a wonderful teacher. I learned more than I thought I would and would recommend this highly to people who want to perfect the art of storytelling in either a professional sense or just for friends / family. Very enjoyable.
Melissa Barhy: I have attended many courses, such as Italian Beginners, Candle Making, Resin Workshop. It's always good fun!
HAMID YAHYAEI: Fantastic community service.
Chuck Lee: The massage course conducted by Jade was informative and she was very skillful in disseminating the information and sharing her skills. Very enjoyable and the participants were very friendly and sharing materials and experiences. Thumbs up
Ulla GERICH-McGregor: I have attended the Greek language course Level 1 with John S for the past 10 weeks. I enjoyed the course a lot, John is a great and motivating teacher. Particularly I enjoyed learning about modern Greece now and also how the modern Greek language has developed over time. The course was online, my first language course online and it was great. Would have loved to continue with level 2 now but the course is only on offer in October. Thanks John, hope our group and a few more are back with you in October.Ulla ( Byron Bay)
Angela M: This was a fantastic way to spend my Sunday. Isabelle has a wealth of experience and knowledge, and is a lovely human. It was a great location with plenty of parking. It was a great introduction to the world of paper, paper folding techniques and bookbinding skills. I highly recommend Isabelle and The Owl and Lion for bookbinding workshops
Paola Vertechi: I have just completed the third piano course at the Sydney Community College. The teacher, Lucia Ko, was really lovely, very clear in her explanations, patient, and in general fun to learn with. The course gave excellent value for money, considering that most piano lessons are very expensive. Highly recommended!
Gil Raymond: Awesome Ableton Live course with Anton! Thank you

Redfield College: what do users think?
Lil Liam: Look, this school is great, great environment, great boys, mostly great teachers. They hired a new teacher from England, the worst teacher they could ever hire, takes for ever to mark the work (6 weeks!) and is wayyyy to strict, l'm not saying strict is bad, but he is the most boring and dull person l could've ever met in my life, l don't know how he has a wide and kids. The worst marker at Redfield, doesn't give us reasons why it was bad or what we could've done. In my opinion, they need to get a more energetic teacher and not some boring dull person, l hope he leaves for good and NEVER comes back to this school
Gerald Keane: I went through Redfield in the 90’s. I was intrigued by some of the claims made on the recent Four Corners episode - as I neither experienced nor recall any of the practises claimed by some of the interviewees. It’s not perfect but what school or person is? My experience at Redfield was overwhelmingly positive - and I have made lifelong friends from my time there. Its staff are also very authentic and genuine in their concern for the spiritual and physical welfare of not just their students but their old boys. I don’t know of many school principals and teachers that are in touch with so many of their alumni as those at RedfieldI would recommend this school to any parents looking for a quality well rounded education for their boys
Michael Baldivia: Great all rounded school experience, academically and to set good personal foundations for life.
Angelo Tamayo: The school fosters excellent students in sports, music, and academics. It is a school that has proven that it teaches facts, as evidenced by its remarkable performance in the HSC, the stats of which can easily be found online. Of course, you can also find the curriculum on their website. It comes as no surprise that many graduates are known in their fields as upstanding people who are diligent at work, practising the values and teachings that they grew in Redfield. There is a noticeable and positive difference in how a graduate conducts himself as a hardworker with solid moral values. If there is a gold standard of men, it is a Redfield Old Boy.This is a school that truly cares about its students. The parent-student-teacher dynamic is fundamental to Redfield. YOU, as a parent, have a say in how your child will be taught. YOU, as a parent, are a close mediator in his upbringing. How powerful this is, cannot be understated, and I do not know of other schools outside of PARED that value this so much. The school cares so much about your son that they assign him a mentor whom you work with, whose role is to critically analyse his performance, and also help foster healthy habits and virtues. You can rest assured that in sending your children to Redfield, his talents will be nurtured and manifested for whatever he wants to do in life. You can rest assured that your son will be recognised by people around him as a good man, who, by example, leads others to become virtuous like himself. The world needs more men like this.
Matt: A wonderful school for a comprehensive education in virtues, liberal arts and sciences.
Tim John: We have been very happy with the school for our 2 boys. Having like minded parents with similar values has been excellent, so too the great group of friends our sons have. 👍
Julia Symons: My experience as a parent of 2 sons who went to Redfield was very positive. The partnership which recognised the parents as the prime educators was very fruitful. My sons are now contributing in a beneficial way to society .
Peter Saccasan: My 2 sons and 3 daughters have all come through the Pared schools. When I ask my 5 children if today they are glad they went to these schools they ALL say “yes”. What more can I say. Except that “so am I”.
Douglas George: The 8 years I spent at the college provided me with a great education, excellent mentorship, a strong network of friends and countless extracurricular opportunities. I am proud to be a Redfield old boy.
Patrick Gallagher: My experience with this school was exemplary - rare to find a school truly delivering Catholic education and a truly caring environment.
Mike Rivas: Wonderful school producing well mannered grounded young men who have the potential to be valued members of society
Gemma Saccasan: Tangara and Redfield, schools of the Pared Foundation, foster a strong relationship between family and school, and support parents in being the best parents they can be. We sold our newly built home, 13 minutes from the city, and moved locally, to send our children to them, and we have never regretted it (probably missed the 13 minute commute though!).As individuals and as a family, we could not have asked for better support in all the challenges life throws your way. Growing up isn't easy, and being a parent isn't easy, and nothing is perfect, and we are so grateful for our children's time at Tangara and Redfield.N.B. We conducted a survey (without skewing the questions!) and asked our children, with an open mind, if they were glad they had gone to Tangara and Redfield, and got a 100% positive response!
Erik Elzerman: Good solid school.
Christopher Mfarrej: Coming from a public school. I valued how tight knit they connected school with family.
A Setiawan: Every student is so nice at Redfield. They are all so thoughtful, kind and have a good sense of mateship. This is a fun and active school for my sons. Most teachers whom I’ve met so far and those who have directly taught my sons (both Primary and Highschool) were genuinely interested to support and encourage them, to give their best into their learning. The mentors (past and current) for our sons have been fantastic because they were empathetic and respectful towards us. As a parent, we receive more than our sons’ academic support, we also receive parenting support through regular key parent functions, and the school’s The Parent-Teacher Project podcast on how to raise strong, purposeful and confident boys around character growth, virtues and positive relationships.
Kim P: Redfield provided my son with the structure he needed to improve academically. They have instilled discipline and positive habits, and taught him accountability for his own work. Between the set weekly routine and mentorship, our son learnt to be self-motivated, organised and consistent not just with school, but also at home and his extracurricular activities. The staff are fantastic and communication is great. Would love to see an app version of the Parent Portal in the future.
Tanya C: This College is truly unique. We really value the mentoring system so that my son has a mentor to work with him, and us, to help him achieve his best...not just in academics but in all areas of life. There is a strong focus on academics as well as sports, music and all areas of students development. The grounds are beautiful and the staff and families there are amazing. Couldn't be happier.
Patricia Sarkis: Our 8 year old son has attended Redfield college for one year now and our second son we have just enrolled. He LOVES going to school and his teachers are a great encouragement with a personalised approach to his strengths and weaknesses (no cookie-cutter education here!)Redfield college integrates compassion into their teaching standards, emphasising the importance of values, religion and we have already noticed tremendous improvement in our son's behaviour. We believe that there is a good student-to-teacher ratio whereby giving the children more confidence when asking questions, engaging in group activities, and opportunities for one-on-one time with the teachers. Most importantly, the teachers are sincerely passionate about seeing their students succeed. They are fantastic at sharing moments of prides they see within your child - their good behaviours and achievements; and they know the importance of getting the parents involved should an issue arise, and approach this in a very respectful, swift manner. My husband and i feel so relieved knowing our boys are in a good hand. A great team and school!
Lara Sleiman: A place where excellence, character development and virtue are seamlessly built and school feels like home.
Paul and Soizic Morrissey: If you want your son do grow in virtue as well as knowledge, you should seriously consider Redfield College. It’s a school that works with parents to help raise your son to flourish and be the person he is is meant to be.
